Incompetence! Yesterday I brought in my VW Tiguan for an oil change, after which I was presented with some issues the "VW Technician" had identified: - horn inop Yesterday I brought in my VW Tiguan for an oil change, after which I was presented with some issues the "VW Technician" had identified: - horn inop -washer fluid operation not working -coolant flush $250 -front brakes $600 -pollen and air filter $150 -exhaust clamp $120 After inspecting the "issues" I could establish that both the horn and the windshield washer operation worked just fine. I have to say that this event brings my confidence level in companies providing oil change and repair services to a new low, and I am wondering if the oil change was actually performed. I would like to know how VW Kelly trains "VW Technicians" and how VW Kelly verifies training effectiveness when "Technicians" do not even know how to operate a horn and the windshield washer. I do not feel that my cars are in good hands, to say the least. More
