Pleasantly surprised. I stopped in to show my wife some colors of Explorers as I was getting ready to order and XLT from the dealer I normally use. I said probably not and told him I looked at the magnetic Metallic Explorer Sport so I could make sure the color I wanted my vehicle built in. Chris asked 8f I liked the sport and I said yes but I could afford it. He worked a deal and it was to much for me. 30 minutes after I left there he called me with a deal I couldn't refuse. I got much much more of a car than the one I was going to order. An amazing experience and deal. I am so happy with my Sport I feel like a kid at Xmas. Memories of past car purchase negotiations were still fresh enough that I was not looking forward to doing this--it turns out that I didn't have to worry at all. Doug is about as down to earth as they come; he made me feel completely at home and he thoroughly answered every "What if?" that I could think of. I had heard many good things about Klaben from co workers as well as had dealings with many of the Klaben employees there through work that were pleasant, Doug put me at ease right away and really listened when I answered his questions. In doing so he was quickly able to help pinpoint just the right vehicle for my lifestyle. I wanted something that was newer to me, that I could haul dogs around in on transport or to and from events, as well as being good in the snow. A rugged ready to work vehicle that would be a change from a truck, but that I could also feel comfortable driving mom to the grocery or friends to dinner in. Doug quickly found just the right vehicle for me. He took his time answering all my questions, and going over the vehicle with me as I checked the spare tire and took a look under the vehicle and figured out all the buttons. Doug even stayed over an hour late to make sure I could take the Escape (Fluffy) home as he knew my old S10 was dead! I can't thank Klaben enough for the home town family feeling they exude or Doug for making me feel so at ease and helping me out in a pinch!
