I have purchased four, band new Mercedes since 2002. I have been driving Mercedes for the past 20 plus years. I have given all my repair and maintenance business to Mercedes-Benz at Hagerstown for tha I have been driving Mercedes for the past 20 plus years. I have given all my repair and maintenance business to Mercedes-Benz at Hagerstown for that 20 plus years. This year, 2023, all of my Mercedes are getting old, so I'm looking for 2 or 3 new Mercedes. I contacted the Hagerstown dealer, and the dealer convinced me that buying a Certified Pre-owned car from them is the best deal because it would give me a 5 year, unlimited miles warranty. They found me a 2023 GLA, and we worked out a deal for the first of the new Mercedes. I am a simple buyer because I do not need financing, I am paying cash. Today they delivered the car. Since I have never bought a used car before, I confirmed with the dealer sales that the 5 year warranty starts today, (12/12/2023) and runs until 12/12/2028. It was confirmed by the sales at the time of signing the title in my house. Little did I know that the vehicle actually only carried a three year manufacture's warranty, plus one year dealer warranty. It was not a five year warranty as it was confirmed again to me today. I was very upset about being mislead. I tried to contact Austin, the sales manager. He threatened me by saying that if I returned the vehicle, they would never let me do business with them again. They don't appreciate any business that I have been given to them for the past 20 plus years. After what he said, I immediately drove the car back to the dealer to return it. After I got to the dealership, the General Manager, Justin, threatened to call the police on me. He wouldn't allow me to stay in the dealership as I waited for my husband to pick me up. It is winter here, it just snowed this morning, it was very cold outside. However, Justin wouldn't let me stay inside. He threatened to call the police if I did not leave immediately by yelling, "GET OUT OF MY SHOWROOM!." He kept yelling, "GET OUT, GET OUT!" across the showroom. Not only did he not appreciate the business I have been giving them, he continued to yell across the showroom. He screamed, "YOU HAVE BEEN NOTHING BUT TROUBLE FOR THE PAST 20 YEARS." He has never wanted me as a customer. I am Asian and female. He threatened and bullied me in his showroom. I truly believe that he is a racist, sexist and xenophobic. Honestly, I don't need to buy three more new Mercedes. I have so many options, but I'm certainly going to file a formal complaint against the sales manager Austin and general manager Justin at "Mercedes-Benz at Hagerstown". More
