I can't speak on the sales side as I haven't bought a vehicle there since it was Zeck but the service department is filled with crooks. The service rep I dealt with Chantel added items to my service orde vehicle there since it was Zeck but the service department is filled with crooks. The service rep I dealt with Chantel added items to my service order that were never mentioned nor a concern to me and when questioned about the items she showed me the iPad that I did a finger signature upon the original drop off with other items attached. I stated how would you have my signature to fix a leak I never knew I had she had no response in only that I signed and it was authorized. The only thing I can imagine is that they can add items to that page later so if you have to go there get a print out of your concerns as well as the authorized work!! In all Chantel stated the technician performed 6 separate diagnostic reports as that is how it has to be done (according to Chantel). Turned in warranty items for repair that I never said weren't working or an issue and to add icing to the cake I was stopped in the loaner vehicle because the dealer tag had expired the previous year and we are in July oh and one of the 6 diagnostic report on the TPMS sensor system stated system checked out and working fine even though I showed her 9 notifications from the my Ford app about the system and the remote start system of which got iits own diagnostic test as well. But after threatening to sue for unauthorized work and driving away the TPMS sensor again came on less than 5 minutes of leaving the dealership SMDH. Needless to say even after I stopped and took a picture Chantel did not respond and it is still awaiting to be fixed else where. Believe me there is a reason they get consistent bad reviews and BBB complaints!! I would never have stopped in there if I knew it wasn't Zech Ford or read the warning reviews. More
108 Days of Delays, Lies, and Vehicle Returned With Undisclosed Safety Defect REVIEW: SERVICE DEPARTMENT - COMPLETE FAILURE Brought my 2014 Ford Focus to Morris Smith Ford on October 7, 2025 for c Undisclosed Safety Defect REVIEW: SERVICE DEPARTMENT - COMPLETE FAILURE Brought my 2014 Ford Focus to Morris Smith Ford on October 7, 2025 for clutch assembly and transmission control module replacement (components covered under Ford class action lawsuit). Standard repair timeline: 2-3 weeks. I got my car back January 28, 2026 - 108 DAYS LATER. COMMUNICATION: NON-EXISTENT Months of ignored phone calls Emails went unanswered Zero proactive updates on vehicle status Had to escalate to Ford Corporate (Case #CXH-06716378-G7Z8K3) just to get basic information No loaner vehicle provided despite 108-day delay UNAUTHORIZED CONTACT WITH FAMILY MEMBER Around December 1, 2025, Morris Smith Ford bypassed both registered owners (myself and my wife Amanda) and contacted our adult daughter to authorize a $200 battery charge. When confronted, owner Morris Smith claimed this was due to "data conversion errors from Zeck Ford." THAT'S A LIE. We purchased this Focus from Sneed Ford, not Zeck Ford. It has never been serviced at Zeck Ford. Morris Smith fabricated this explanation to excuse contacting an unauthorized party. FRAUDULENT "DISCOUNT" CLAIM Morris Smith claimed he provided a "goodwill discount" on the final bill as customer service gesture. THE TRUTH: Service Advisor Richard initially quoted approximately $4,400 for the repair. Final invoice: $4,816.49. That's a $416 INCREASE over the initial estimate, not a discount. Morris Smith falsely represented accurate billing as generosity. VEHICLE RETURNED WITH UNDISCLOSED SAFETY DEFECT Upon starting the vehicle in Morris Smith Ford's parking lot on January 28, 2026 (literally within 2 minutes of pickup), I immediately noticed severe abnormal vibration that was NOT present when I dropped off the vehicle. Independent inspection at another Ford dealership on February 2, 2026 confirmed: Failed motor mount contributing to abnormal vibration. Repair cost: $463.29 HERE'S THE PROBLEM: Transmission removal REQUIRES removing or loosening motor mounts. During 108 days of possession and transmission work, Morris Smith Ford's technicians either: Observed the failed motor mount and deliberately didn't disclose it (deceptive practice) Damaged/collapsed the motor mount during multiple transmission removals (negligent work) Never actually removed the transmission (fraudulent billing) When I demanded Morris Smith Ford cover the motor mount repair due to non-disclosure, Morris Smith refused, stating "we didn't work on motor mounts." But your technicians accessed them during transmission removal and returned my vehicle without disclosing a safety defect. MANAGEMENT CONDUCT: UNPROFESSIONAL Service Manager Zach Smith refused to sign delivery receipt acknowledging my formal complaint Referenced "our attorneys" when asked for simple signature Offered zero apology for 108-day delay Owner Morris Smith sent 11pm email on January 28 about "next steps to retrieve vehicle"... 10 HOURS AFTER I'D ALREADY PICKED IT UP (completely disconnected from his own service operations) Zach Smith now conveniently "no longer employed here" so Morris can dodge accountability ACTIVE COMPLAINTS: Better Business Bureau: Case #24398726 Ford Motor Company Corporate: Case #CXH-06716378-G7Z8K3 Kansas Attorney General Consumer Protection (declined to pursue) Considering small claims court for motor mount repair costs PATTERN OF POOR SERVICE: Check the other reviews RECOMMENDATION: AVOID. Find another Ford dealership for service. Your vehicle, your time, and your safety are worth more than what Morris Smith Ford provides. More
Had an issue with my truck, my service advisor Amanda was on top of it. She had everything set for me when i got my vehicle down to services. Was in and out with a loaner in no time. on top of it. This dealership and their service department is a joke. We brought our Explorer in that we had originally purchased here for multiple recalls and some other basic services in mid July. One of the recalls w We brought our Explorer in that we had originally purchased here for multiple recalls and some other basic services in mid July. One of the recalls was the exterior A-pillar trim. Without having replacement parts on hand, they pulled the A-pillar trim knowing that 90% of the time (they admitted this) that the trim will break. They also "lost" my car several times over following few weeks as I tried to get updates on the various service items needing to be completed. By mid August I was finally able to get my car back. No loaner car, no apologies. And to top it off the A-pillar trim still wasn't available, so I had to drive off with a car that looks like ghetto trash. I was told "late October" for replacements to come in and they would call. It's now the end of October and I had to call them for an update. I'm now being told end of 2024 or early 2025 for the parts to come in and I'll have to drive around looking like trash until then. This dealership was already bad under Zeck, and now it's a complete mess. Don't buy from this dealer, and if for some reason you do I recommend avoiding their service group entirely. More

I will never ever purchase a vehicle from Zeck Ford again. We purchased a 2017 Ford Explorer that has been in service more in the 60 days than we have had it. There are $2,000 worth of repairs that the again. We purchased a 2017 Ford Explorer that has been in service more in the 60 days than we have had it. Sage took great care of us. It took us a few months to find exactly what we were looking for and he was very kind and patient with us. Never once did we feel pressured to buy.
