When I first checked out Preston Chevy's website and saw their tagline, "The Nicest People Serving The Nicest Guests", I laughed a little. Then I said, "yeah, sure" under my breath. I mean, car dealers ar their tagline, "The Nicest People Serving The Nicest Guests", I laughed a little. Then I said, "yeah, sure" under my breath. I mean, car dealers aren't nice....right? From the moment I stepped into the dealership, JJ greeted me and asked me what I was he could help me with. I wanted to check out the new Bolt. Within minutes, I felt like I was talking to a good friend. My typical experience at dealerships has been feeling like I was trying to be "sold". My Preston Chevy experience was completely different. I felt they listened and worked hard to put together a deal that worked for both of us. They were honest and open about the challenges of the current market. There were no 4 squares, no signing ridiculous "offers" to get managers attention, no bull crap..... just a bunch of good people trying to help me buy the right car. Even the trade-in process was relaxing. Bill checked out my trade-in and was very courteous about it. Sure there was some back and forth on it, I mean it's a business. Then no hard sells when going through finance with Dylan, just again people working hard to make sure I got what was best for me. When all was said and done, my new car was cleaned up and JJ gave me his number just in case I need anything and I was on my way with my new Chevy Bolt. As I was driving home, I reflected on Preston Chevy's tagline again. While I'm not sure I'd be considered the nicest guest,....I will say they entire team at Preston Chevy were some of the nicest people I've dealt with in the industry. I'd bet if you give them a chance, I bet you'll walk away feeling the same (be sure to ask for JJ, he was just an all around good guy to work with). More
