I had a mixed experience. The individuals I worked with - Shaun, Issa, and above all, service manager Jill Thurston, were uniformly great. The problems were 1) that I had an appointment to get a part replaced and nobody called to tell me "don't come, the part hasn't arrived." Also, (2) I had originally come to have a specific problem checked AND to have the car checked overall for roadworthiness for a driving trip. Turned out that the service personnel look at the date on the oil change sticker to see if an oil change is due, and DON"T ACTUALLY CHECK THE OIL LEVEL!! Naturally, having been told all was ready, I drove out and immediately got a low oil warning. An oil change (with detergent to ensure the float indicator wasn't sticky) fixed that, but it could have easily been noticed on the initial check instead of requiring another visit. I understand that this practice is going to be changed, and the techs will actually take the 30 seconds required to check the dipstick, so hopefully nobody else has that particular experience. More
Jeff, is very personable and knowledgeable. Explained to me what my scheduled service visit was all about. Gave me an expected time as to they would be finished with my car. Upon arrival, I asked Jeff to include 4 wheel align as I had hit some nasty rocks at speed. He laughed and pointed to a screen above which actually showed the misaligned tires. I have never seen a device that you drive over and it gives you results regarding tread depth and alignment. Pretty cool. More
Matthew made the process so easy! He and I only communicated via text and email (it was my preference to communicate this way) until the day I came to pick up my car. Even though I had never met him or even spoken to him, I felt like he was an old friend just helping a friend out and that I could trust him. He kept me informed on when my car would be arriving which in turn kept me excited instead of anxious like I normally would be. Then to top it all off he made sure we were able to get in and out of the dealership as fast as possible on the day we came to complete the purchase and drive off in our new Ascent. We were only at the dealership for a whole hour and a half!!! Matthew and everyone else we worked with (I believe Tim was the Finance person we spoke to) were absolutely amazing to work with! We couldn't have dreamt of having a better experience! Thank you, Matthew and Tim (I hope I got your name right), for everything you did for us! I'm loving my new 2023 Ascent Touring! More

My visit was for an issue related to a flat tire I wasn’t confident could be safely reused. Ultimately the tire needed to be replaced. This was the best experience I've had at a car dealership. I've purchased 6 cars throughout my adult life, and by far this was the most streamlined, calm, attentive, and friendly. I showed up late dealership. I've purchased 6 cars throughout my adult life, and by far this was the most streamlined, calm, attentive, and friendly. I showed up late on a Friday evening, about 15 minutes before they closed. Adam was kind enough great me and still allow me to test drive a vehicle. He even stayed late to answer some questions. I came back the following day and drove a second vehicle. I met with Adam and Chad. They were very thorough, knowledgeable, and no pressure sales, and patient with me as I asked more questions since this would be my first Subaru. They were awesome. I ended up purchasing an Outback. I would definitely go back to Subaru of Gwinnett. More
