Didn't Buy A Car, Made a Friend! I worked all summer to save up and buy a car before heading back to school out of state. I was completely overwhelmed by the car-buying process, and was visiting dealers every day to test-drive, compare, and compromise. After one particularly difficult day, I thought I'd stop by Tucson Subaru (I was looking for a used Forester). Bob Wilson immediately came over and offered his help. He was so upbeat and funny right off the bat that it totally transformed my mood. While there weren't many options in the T.S. lot that interested me (within my budget, that is), Bob still made a point for me not to leave without SOME kind of help. He listened to all the different cars I was considering, gave me great advice and the numbers for people around town. He really absorbed a father-like/caring tone while I was there. It was extremely reassuring considering other cars salesmen had made me feel so stressed and pressured. He wished me luck, assured me that it was going to be okay, and even followed up a couple days later via email to check if I had ended my search. Ultimately, I did not buy a car this summer. I found that none of the choices were good enough, and that I needed more time. Bob was an integral character in this final choice as he reminded me not to buy out of frustration, anger, or impatience, but rather that the RIGHT car would present itself when the time came and the process would be far more rewarding. It might be sappy, but he truly was the kindest and funniest car salesman I met this month, and I'm extremely grateful that I did. Highly recommend. More
