From 'root canal' to a 'great experience'! I am well into retirement and over the years have purchased somewhere from two to three dozen cars, vans, suvs, sports cars, etc. etc! I have hated t I am well into retirement and over the years have purchased somewhere from two to three dozen cars, vans, suvs, sports cars, etc. etc! I have hated the experience for the last couple of dozen years! Right next to a root canal on my 'least favorites' list! And, my last and only car built in Asia was a Datsun 240 Z, British Green and I had to have it! I have a lot of friends that swear by their Subaru of various models so my wife and I decided to take a look at the Subaru. Our last statement as we left the house was that 'we are not buying a car this year'! Spent two pleasant and informative hours that afternoon with a very talented and knowledgeable sales person and left the dealership knowing that if the dealership wanted to work with us to buy a car that we would do it. Less than 24 hours later we were working with the 'finance' person to get all the paperwork squared away and even that was an okay experience which took no longer than 15 minutes. We are two days into ownership and loving it! When we buy our next car we will buy from this lady! We sure hope that she is still selling the Subaru brand! More

As is probably the case for many people, we weren't planning to purchase a car on our first trip to Tucson Subaru - we just wanted to familiarize ours As is probably the case for many people, we weren't planning to purchase a car on our first trip to Tucson Subaru - we just wanted to familiarize ourselves with the brand. I had contacted CJ online about a couple of cars; when we arrived for our appointment he was ready to show us the vehicles I had selected as well as some options that were actually better for our needs. I appreciated his honesty and his attention to the details that were of interest and importance to us. He was very knowledgable about Subaru as well as other brands we were considering (especially Honda), so we were able to discuss the pros and cons of many of the vehicles we were considering. Again, although we weren't expecting to buy a car that day, CJ was able to make us such a fantastic offer on a new model with all the bells and whistles we wanted (and gave us an excellent deal on our trade-in) that we just couldn't walk away empty handed. However, and importantly, we didn't feel unduly pressured to say yes at that very moment. I also really appreciated the honesty and fun attitude of the finance manager, Tim Hanson. He made that often-dreadful experience totally understandable, efficient, and as painless as possible. When the time comes to get another vehicle, we'll definitely be coming back to Tucson Subaru - and we'll be recommending it to our friends, too! More
