My Deal, My Way - mtm99
For this car purchase, I knew what I wanted. I had finance approved and I didn't want to spend a day plus in a dealership making decisions under time pressure. I had been doing business for my last 4 cars with another Mazda dealer and they told me to come in to talk about it. I built the car on Mazda.com and got inquiries from every dealer in the metro area. I told all of the dealers what I wanted. Danika responded with a quick response, a description of the car, a price and an offer to order it. Nobody else was so through we began talking, configuring the car adding options all via email and text. In the end I received the exact car I wanted, at a great price and came in and signed paperwork. That plus delivery took 90 minutes. Thanks to Danika and the rest of the Shortline team for getting me exactly what I wanted, my way. BTW I love the car.

7th purchase here, great selection and superior customer service. John took extra care reviewing this car and the transaction to ensure every detail exceeded expectations.
Fantastic Service and Sales Experience - cszalewski
Worked closely with Jason Gordon to find the deal that fit my budget, he was a consummate professional who never pressured me and was patient with all of my inane questions. Homer Barraza patiently walked me through the financing steps and was kind and empathetic when I was having a rough day. I really enjoyed my experience at Spradley Barr and would return again for my next purchased.

Great follow up even though we ended up not purchasing - dzcrosser
We test drove a used car and kept it a couple days. Even though we did not purchase that car, David Cotton kept us informed over the next several weeks when he got something in that fit what we were looking for and our price range. No pressure, just informative. We did not end up purchasing from this dealer but will go back when we have future needs.
Best car buying experience I have ever had! - datakid67
From the start this was an amazing experience. I checked out what cars I was interested in on their website. I talked to Morgan to get started and he was absolutely awesome! He knew exactly what we were looking for and helped us make the best selection. Ian was there to help with the process and I have never seen such a flawless hand-off, it was like they knew what each other were thinking, seriously! I am very happy with the Mazda 3 we bought for my daughter and I will return when I am ready to get my next car. They even stayed late to make sure the car was detailed before we left! Great work gentlemen! I highly recommend Morgan or Ian for anyone who is looking for a hassle free purchase and a great conversation during the process.
Michael - Grandma74
Our experience was exceptional because of Michael. For as young as he is,he is knowledgeable and explains clearly. Michael did not pressure and allowed time for me to decide. To me the salesperson either makes or breaks a deal. Michael sure made the deal and a grandma in her 70s drove off in a flashy red Mazda CX-5!
Don't stand behind their product - Daniel Burrell
!DONT BUY HERE! Bought a new Jeep for close to 18k within 2 weeks the wheel bearings were making a bunch of noise. Took it back in and they seemed at first willing to fix it but the guy wouldn't give me a price. He kept referencing if I had a warranty there would still be a $100 copay. So when I left the car they made it seem like at most I would be out a $100, and I was OK with that. 2 Days later I walk in and it turned into $400. After getting pissed off it turned into $160, but still, wheel bearing going bad in 2 weeks meant it was broken when purchased and I certainly didn't get a broke wheel bearing discount. If your OK with paying 18k for a car that will be in the shop 2 weeks later this is the place for you.
This is the kind of place that gives dealerships a bad name - darja
It started out as a really good deal, and in the end I had such a bad experience here that 2 weeks later, still not having the car in my possession, I made them give me my money back, knowing I was going to probably spend $2000 more for the same car elsewhere. That’s how much I don’t want to do business with these people. If you insist on buying a car from these people, bring an attorney with you. OK, at least GET IT INSPECTED SOMEWHERE ELSE FIRST, and INSIST ON making all agreements directly with the manager, and have it all typed and in writing, and get copies. I came down on Saturday to test drive a Honda Fit that had just been traded in. I had negotiated pricing already over the phone, so as long as everything checked out, I was buying it that day. When he was showing me the car, the sales guy David said it had just been detailed but they still needed to do some cosmetic stuff (buffing out scratches, reattaching a side skirt, restoring headlights), but they’d deliver it to me Friday in Denver, and give me a loaner to use in the meantime. They had already inspected it, and I was told everything came back good. I took it to get independently inspected at a Honda Dealership, and they found an oil leak and a few other things. They only agreed to fix it if I paid more. So…. the pricing we negotiated was apparently contingent on me not finding out about the leak. I wish so badly I would’ve walked away at this point. Instead, I paid $250 extra and bought the car, leaving it there to repair oil leak and finish the cosmetic stuff.
Friday I texted David to ask what time it would be delivered. He said “it’s not ready” and it would be ANOTHER WEEK, and then lied about why (told me the buffing guy was really backed up- I later found out that the side skirt they were going to reattach was unsalvageable and they had to order a new one. Why he didn’t just tell me this, I have no idea. I think he didn’t bother to find out why the car wasn’t ready, and just made up an excuse). I asked to talk to a manager, and got a call from Matt, who was actually really nice and very reasonable. I told him I was upset with this whole process and we agreed he'd give me $250 back and continue with repairs. Monday, a DIFFERENT manager called me. I wish I remembered his name, so I could warn people to stay as far away as possible.
He was nasty- accused me of fabricating the fact that the other manager Matt had agreed to give me $250 back. He also told me I was owed nothing on this car besides the mechanical repairs that were already done, and they had never agreed to buff out scratches, restore headlights, or reattach the side skirt (when I came to test drive the car, the FIRST thing the sales rep said was that those things still needed to be done - they weren’t things I had asked for). Not to mention that the only reason they still had my car was that they were waiting on the side skirt. So if we never agreed to any of that, why did they still have the car? I had those things in writing, on the We Owe Statement, but this manager claimed that David isn’t authorized to add things to that document, so it didn’t matter that it was in writing. I said I wanted to talk to the manager above him. He ended the conversation by telling me ‘oh by the way, we need to come up tonight and swap out the loaner car you have, because we have a buyer for it’ and threatened me if I didn’t allow them to pick it up. I told him they could pick it up but I wanted a call from the GM first thing in the morning. 3 days went by without a call from anyone. David texted me saying they were ready to deliver the car, and when I asked him if the new side skirt had been reattached, scratches buffed and headlights restored, he responded with a vague “the car looks good.” I asked for a photo of the side skirt, and he sent me one that clearly shows the old broken side skirt reattached- it looks AWFUL. I politely told him I was still waiting for a call from the manager to get things resolved. Finally, on Thursday I informed them I was driving to the mountains for the weekend and would prefer to not do the trip in their loaner car, but was still patiently waiting for a call from a manager. After threatening to report the loaner car as stolen, Reece finally called me and agreed to give me my money back. When David drove up to pick up the loaner and bring me my check, he had the nerve to again offer me the $250 back if I’d take the car. I will gladly pay more to have an HONEST experience somewhere else.
