Picked up my new Honda about two weeks ago from HQ Honda. Discovered that my VIN on the dash was not readable due to, apparently, something had obscured it. Possibly something spilled when the car was being prepped. Dunno. Popped in to the service department yesterday and met with Carlos Sanchez. Mind you, I did not have an appointment and expected to be asked to make one and come back later. Carlos could not possibly have been more helpful and accommodating. He sorted out the issue while I waited. That kind of customer service will go a long way in keeping me as a happy customer.

Called and made appt. to have my GPS updated and told now had to pay for it since my car was 6 yrs. old. That was understandable and was willing to pay for the upgrade. When I arrived for appt. was told they couldn't do that on my car because it was older than 5 yrs. Wish I got the person's name that I talked with, Was not service advisers' fault since I did not talk to him directly. Wish people giving info. out where updated on policies. I have been a customer for many years and was surprised by such faulty info. Never had a problem before.
