False Advertising/Buyer Beware - AP2018
After researching the purchase of a Pacifica online, I found the best deals at Holzhauer. I went there, test drove the vehicle and subject to the appraisal of my Durango was ready to purchase that day. I asked if the online price for the vehicle was the price I would be getting and Brendan assured me it was. Fast forward to the official offer and I was given a deal based on the MSRP of the Pacifica, which was $7000 more than what was listed online. I feel like they tried to take advantage of a female who went on her own to buy a car. Little did they know they weren't dealing with an amateur! They even went so far as to tell me they thought they already had someone to purchase my Durango! Needless to say, I left and will not be returning.

Gave them a chance to respond to an email and they ignored it so here is my experience.
I made an appointment with my VIN# with Darrell the service manager 3 weeks before I came down with 2 Ford recalls that was verified by him for my 2016 Ford Transit chassis on a Winnebago RV. Gjvork is on the Ford Commercial Fleet/Class C Recreational Vehicle web site as a “servicing” dealer for RV’s.
One recall required a trailer tow module exchange so I wanted to make it out far enough that the parts would be available as I had a 1.5 hour drive and I said I needed to wait.
When I arrived first appointment in the morning I was greeted at the service desk with a bowl of cereal eating service person and a comment quote “Great an RV to work on first thing Monday morning”……….Negative right from the start. Sorry to bother you!! You could have told me you didn’t work on them instead WASTING 4.5 hours of my life for nothing! The Ford website said you were the closest to me.
After waiting to have a fuel filter changed for $125 and supposed reprogramming an emission recall, I was told that they didn’t have the tow module and I would have to come back. Just what I was trying to avoid and was explained from the beginning. Trust me I won’t be back ever again. He could have gave 2 sheets to the wind about it.
I am actually considering a new Ford truck. I can tell you who I won’t be ever dealing with.
Called Durand Ford 20 minutes from me and even though they are not listed as a Ford Fleet servicing center they had the module in stock and did the recall 2 days after I contacted them. Much cleaner and friendlier dealership. I learned my lesson.
I sent an email to Darrell about what happened and my slight anger….never responded.
Don’t like writing reviews like this but these guys totally have totally earned this review. Should be zero stars.

Bought truck with vibration - pissed off
I found the used truck I had been looking for and the price was right. Made the deal with my trade. Came back the next day to finalize the deal and take delivery. I traded an F250 for an F150. The F250 had D plates and the F150 only needs B plates....when we sat down to do the paperwork, they had transferred my plates instead of ordering new ones and got bent out of shape when I asked him to get me the B plates that my new truck needed. The truck I bought had a slight vibration when I test drove it and I mentioned that to the salesman, he said it sat for awhile and may have some flat spots on the tires and it should smooth out in 100 miles or so. The truck came with 1000 mile 50/50 warranty from the dealer. I purchased an extended warranty as well. I put 900 miles on the truck and took it to the dealer with the vibration I had mentioned to the salesman, I got there after the service department had closed, so I asked the on duty manager to go for a drive with me so he could experience the vibration and explain it to the service department in the morning. He just looked at me and said...do I look like a mechanic? OK...so my salesman says I'll go with you....he felt the vibration and wrote of the shop ticket. Next day, I call to check on it, service department tells me, there is no vibration, nothing wrong,....no, talk to so and so salesman he felt it....service guy says he is putting his "top tech" on it.....Next day I call in to check on it, I am then told the top tech has a truck identical to mine and this is just what you have to expect. Umm no. I called Ford corporate, they give me a bunch of info and suggest I contact top management/owner of the dealership. I research it and find there is a second dealership. I call them and explain my issue, and am promised a response. The next day I get a call from the service manager. He tells me he drove my truck and there is definitely a problem, long story short, they have had my truck now for 2 weeks and so far have completely rebuilt the front differential and have a new rear driveshaft ordered. I have been told this will all be no cost to me at all and will not be charged to my extended warranty. Only issue now is they will have my truck for another week waiting on the rest of the parts to come in. To sum it up, I have been treated like an idiot, spoken to rudely, and simply ignored. I have also been spoken to very sincerely, cordially and respectfully. They are making it right, but not without a lot of hassle. I would be very careful going to this dealership especially if your not a little mechanically inclined and/or very persistent. Best of luck to you.
warrenty repair - leaky pan
Absolutely the worse dealership for service. I scheduled an appointment for leaking oil pan and blown rear shock. They ordered a gasket for the oil pan leak and a shock, which took over 3 weeks to get. Did not call to schedule appointment, so I called them after about a month. I was told 5 weeks till I could bring in for repair. That appointment was cancelled and quickest I could bring in was 3 weeks later, Memorial Day weekend. So this service department is either so understaffed they don't have a mechanic or they do not want to do warrenty work. 3 monthes to schedule a repair......really???
Called Van Drunen Ford, they had the parts, and scheduled the repair in 2 DAYS! Unfortunately the Bob Harper Ford did not see the BIG CRACK in the oil pan which also had to be replaced.

We bought a pre-owned 2014 Ford Flex from them and had it shipped over to California without ever seeing the SUV in person beforehand. It was a great experience from start to finish. Fair and transparent pricing. Prompt and comprehensive communication every step of the way over email, which is very rare even from local dealerships one has visited in person. We asked many questions about the condition, service and ownership history of the car and received immediate, truthful answers that we later verified. We asked about extended service contracts, but there was no push to upsell anything. We asked for a Carfax, which they did not have, so purchased ourselves, but they did provide one of their own before the sale was concluded. They took it upon themselves to clean and service the car (oil change etc.) and had it carefully loaded and shipped on the carrier of our choice. Chuck was super helpful and kept us informed at all times. Cannot say enough good things about this dealership. We hope they live long and prosper.

Burned up new truck!! - Robert & Carmen
I had my service trucks serviced on 9/16/16. I had the oil / filter change and the fuel filter changed on our diesel, drove less then 100 miles and it burst into flames. What happened? It is a new truck that is completly stock and only been serviced by a dealer.
