Excellent! - OG
Chris Endreshak was great to work with and found exactly what we wanted. We really enjoyed the extra time spent showing us how options worked.
They wii get you what you want! - Debby
I have always had great service at Capital City Nissan. They go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied and get the car you want. Randy Morehead is the consummate professional, working late to make sure I got the car that day. Go see Randy for a great deal and great service!
Great and rewarding experience - D. Turnbow
My Son purchased an Altima midnight edition from Lee. Lee was very knowledgeable, took his time with my son in his decision making, and was very helpful in making my son’s purchase of his first brand new car a successful one. Lee has a friendly, kind and genuine personality. I would recommend Lee to any of my family, friends and coworkers. I also wanted to mention that Bilal and Josh gave excellent service as well. Thank you Capital City Nissan for your excellent service,
Service on my Nissan Sentra - Bsbcar
I brought my car in for an oil change and asked about another problem I had been having with my car. I ended up getting a couple other services and spent a little more money than I planned. But I think it was a good value. And my car is much cleaner than when I brought it in!
Bait & Switch Tactics! - scamorrnissan
We had a service appointment here and left to go look at other used cars while they worked on repairing our car. Came back and were told a bunch of parts had to be replaced and that they could fix it for an astronomical amount of money. After calling around, we decided to get a newer car. The sales manager and finance guy were a joke and rushed us through the whole process. They promised 60-day tags, free service, and warranty work. None of that materialized after the sale. I do not trust the sales and service at this dealership to work on our car.
My van was daamaged by your car wash. - daveb
The day before I took my van in to be serviced I washed it and cleaned it. After I got it home I noticed water marks over several areas. I also noticed two small dents and a small scratch on the back of the van. This must have been caused by your car wash. They weren't there when I took the van in.
My question is will you repair the damage caused by your car wash. I also think you should ask if I want the car washed.
New Car - AngieK
I was in need of a car and was having some challenges. I spoke with the Sales Manager James over the phone and then met with Renee Caldwell. She was an amazing sales person. I felt like I had known Renee for a long time. She was very attentive and made sure all of my questions were answered. James Bird the Sales Manager was awesome, he did a great job ensuring everything worked out in my favor. I recommend Briggs Nissan! Thanks again, Renee and James.
Transmission Issues on a 14 Nissan Altima 65k miles - ROSS
I'll start by saying that if I could give 0 stars that is what I would choose. I purchased this car from McCarthy around July 2017 as a CPO and since then, have had multiple issues with the transmission. Before the powertrain went out the car died on me, shuttered, etc. and McCarthy could not figure out the issue as it didn't trigger an engine code. Finally right at 60,900 miles and a couple inspections later, McCarthy confirmed transmission issues. McCarthy did an update and replaced a few parts after them having the car a week. I asked service at that time how common these issues are because after I started looking into Nissans CVT transmissions, I discovered this is a known issue and was assured by service this would fix it and was better than a total transmission replacement since they would only be installing another transmission with the same faulty parts. I picked up the car a week later and the VERY next day, car dies on me in a drive thru. Take it back in and now we need a new transmission, assured this time by service that a new transmission is better since it fixes all the issues (eye roll). I'm driving it and it still is not driving like it should so I call service again and they tell me it needs broken in and give it some time. I did just that but after a little time take it back in because I know it isn't right and I take video to prove it...no code again this time, so they did another update thru Nissan directly and I am asked to take it home and drive it a week and bring it back in to see if it throws any codes. This time service agrees it isn't driving right. The car goes back in and after supplying them video they get approval from Nissan to replace the transmission AGAIN, and now we are on #3. I am frustrated of course, so we call the sales manager twice because I want to trade this car in without rolling over negative equity since I feel none of this should fall on me. We are yet to receive a call back and although I am not surprised, I am very disappointed. I know I will never purchase another Nissan and certainly will never buy a car from McCarthy again since they don't stand behind what they sell and don't feel the need to address customer satisfaction.
Poor service - Wsxqaz
Bought a used jeep here. It had worn out tires so I as a part of the purchase the agreed to replace tires. Once the tires were in the service center failed to call back for over a week and never answers the phone. Additionally there were other issues with the jeep. Wipers old and worn and the fuel access door did not open and required repair. Poor preparation and service.
I cannot in good conscience recommend Hendricks Nissan - CCNA34
I have purchased many vehicles in my life but never have I been treated in such a deceptive manner. The initial agent who assisted me (Jimmy) did a good job -- he worked to sell me the car. We amicably reached numbers both of us were comfortable with.
The unfortunate part of my experiences revolved around the Finance Manager, Nick. He told me that the deal I’d made with Jimmy (and signed) was a mistake, and that they couldn't take that type of loss on the car. He tried to have me sign a finance paper that would have charged me 12% interest! I told him that I was not OK with this and he replied, "Hold on, we are still looking, the other guy did something stupid.” (Okay, I’m feeling pretty uncomfortable now.) He called in Grant, another Finance Manager, and “poof,” I suddenly had an acceptable interest rate. At this point I was leery, but I was fine with the numbers so I proceeded with the deal.
The next thing that happened can only be termed as a “bait and switch.” Nick offered me a Service Contract. The service contract was to cost $2,700 and cover the car for 6 years or 60,000 miles. That sounded like a decent deal. Always read the fine print folks – when I got home and read through everything I discovered it was only for 6 months and 6000 miles!
The good part is that the contract allows for cancellation of the Service Contract so I called Nick (the same day) and requested cancellation, as per the terms of the contract. Nick actually tells me that the only way I can cancel the Service Contract is if I give up the car I just bought. Excuse me? I was looking at the cancellation clause in front of me as he was telling me this tall tale. I didn’t accept that and insisted that the Service Contract be cancelled.
While I understand haggling and negotiation during a sale, outright lies are not acceptable to me. Doing away with my original signed contract and replacing it with one that contains a service agreement that’s been misquoted is not acceptable to me. But, perhaps the thing that bothers me the most is the fabrication Nick told me on the phone – claiming I could not cancel the Service Contract. Long story short – I’m having the Service Contract cancelled but there’s no reason for people to lie and scam like that. For that reason, I cannot in good conscience recommend Hendricks Nissan in Merriam KS.
And it gets even worse... - Lee N.
I posted earlier about the atrocious service and service department. My vehicle was with them for 9 hours and they did nothing. See earlier posting of mine. Today, I took it to a competing Nissan service center and it was all taken care of in 50 minutes. But get this! What Hendrick DID DO was left my oil cap off and there was gradual spewing of oil atop my engine, under the hood, covering the belts, air hoses, etc, many of which needed to be replaced. And I assure you - nobody else was under the hood of my vehicle except Nissan when they NON-did the work I had made an appointment for. I should bring litigation against them to recover the damages they caused.
