I was greeted by a salesperson who was unenthused to help. I was given a promotion to redeem at this local dealership from Volkswagen, however instead of researching and making accommodations I was immediately sent away. AJ Tucker never once apologized or stated alternatives he just told me what he could not do. Very rude and I will never do business with you promotin or not.

Our sales person Kathy Johnson was truly outstanding in every way! My wife and I have purchased over 10 new cars in our lifetime and this was FAR AND AWAY the very best experience we have had. Kathy was extremely attentive, knowledgeable, compassionate, and best of all a fantastic advocate! Living over 1,000 miles away we were a bit nervous about buying a $68,000 car sight unseen. Kathy, along with the sales manager Stefan St. John put our hesitation at ease....and boy did they deliver...Literally! After negotiating an unbelievable deal our new XC60 T8 Plug-in Highbryd was delivered to our driveway within days! Not a scratch on it..shiny and new! Kathy took pictures and video of the car before and after it was prepped. She was in frequent text communication with us and sent us a picture of it being loaded on the transport truck! They even set up the shipping with a significant discount and covered a portion of the registration. In addition, Carme Vitale the business manager was outstanding. He was kind and made the paperwork a breeze. Unlike a traditional transaction, we didn't have to wait for hours...this was fast and easy! Purchasing this car was by far the easiest, least time consuming, most pleasant car buying experience we have ever had! OH, did I mention that we got the deal of a lifetime?! Worst Dealership Ever.. - Nancy
The reason I'm writing this review is that I don't want anyone to have the same experience as me and wasting time with this dealership.
Had worst experience ever... As a customer, I want to compare each vehicle with quotes from different dealers. I have asked for quotes over the email. I understand some dealers don't want to share the quotes. That's fine. But if a customer already told not to call/text but want the quote over the email, please don't call me.
Instead of getting a quote, I got an email reply saying "I don't get paid until you drive off the lot with my car, so with that being said what is in it for me?" This is the exact sentence that the dealer used. It was really unfortunate that this dealership is doing business with these work ethics. After I respond, the dealer also replied back mentioning that salesperson work on commission based and I should not mention anything about work ethics. I don't believe this is true because there are still places where Salesperson really works in pride and regardless whether it's based on commission or not.
I honestly don't want anyone to have the same experience as me. Don't waste time with this dealership. Find another dealership where they are willing to help you. This place clearly shows that they don't care about the customers but only themselves.

I traveled almost 2 hours to purchase a car from this dealership, it was a very smooth process. They gave the best deal in the area, have followed up with me to make sure I'm satisfied with everything. I was in and out of the dealership in 20 minutes (financing was already arranged before I got there) I can't think of anything I would have wanted different in this buying experience.
Falsely list vehicles with wrong prices - VWCarGuy
This dealership list a vehicle for $30000, but when you contact them to purchase, the price changes to $36000. Example: I saw a vehicle with "Dealer advertised price of 29,381" and confirm with the sales person before moving forward with finance. After finance, the price changed to $36,000. Keep in mind that only rebates/incentives I do NOT qualify for are the College Grad and Military discounts which is approximately a $1000 total. So my question is, why is there such a huge variation in your "advertised price" and the true price? Avantage Volkswagen had the same vehicle for $30,771, which I purchased for $30,295+tax/tabs/license....not $36000.
Horrible customer experience - Brian
My vehicle has been in their shop for close to a month for a repairs and still no word on what’s actually wrong with it. If I don’t email the service advisor I don’t hear anything. The loaner they gave was hit and I am trying to a rental to replace that vehicle since they still have mine and they have been utterly useless. Sent the GM an email lets see if they actually respond.

Richie was my salesmen for one of the last 2015 Golf TDIs made for sale by VW. Richie was honest, forthright and carefully handled the vehicle sale process. He was respectful of my time coming from 35 miles away, and presented no surprises during the sales process. I've not heard good things about VW dealerships but my experience here was easy and above board. Ask for Richie if you're in the market for a VW.
Don't Finance Through Dealership - rsl809
I wish I could review the sales and finance departments at this dealership separately, as my experiences with each department were like night and day. The sales department is great, and if you're interested in a Volkswagen, I strongly recommend working with Rachael. She'll provide you with an itemized quote so that you can compare prices with other dealers. She's not pushy at all, and I found that AutoNation provided the lowest price for the car that I was interested in.
My experience with the finance department was not so great. When I met with the finance manager, I was told that a 1.9 APR only applied to a 36 month loan, and that a 60 month loan had a slightly higher APR. I decided to go with the 60 month loan. I then went home to find that AutoNation was in fact advertising a 1.9 APR for 60 month loans on its website. I contacted my finance manager, who acted surprised and said he'd look into it. A few days (and several phone calls and emails later), I'm told I can drive the 60 miles to the dealership to sign the paperwork for the lower APR. When I asked to be compensated for my time, gas, and mileage, the finance manager refused. Remember, this is a 'mistake' that he made, and I'm expected to waste my time to come in? Thanks, but no thanks. I ended up financing from a bank with the same APR and actually received a snarky email response from Robert. The joke is on him though, as he won't receive a kickback because I'm not financing through the dealership.
If you're interested in a VW and AutoNation offers you the lowest price, either pay in cash, finance through your own bank or credit union, or know the terms and conditions of AutoNation's incentives. (I'd suggest pulling it up on your phone before meeting with finance.)
