Overall very good experience - Ed Singer
Antonio was extremely helpful, answered all my questions and made sure I was taken care of. Everyone was very friendly, but it took a while to complete the deal because of how busy things were at the dealership. I would highly recommend Antonio. Friendly guy who was helpful and answered all of my questions

Heritage Volkswagen of Catonsville was awesome! Naz was fantastic. He was very informative and helpful throughout my entire car buying process. I never felt pressured or on a time constraint with him. When I decided to move forward with buying my car this dealership was fantastic in getting the car I wanted with the colors I wanted. They did not have the exact car I wanted but they were able to get it to the dealership less then 24 hours later. Overall, the entire process was made very simple. I felt like my wants and needs were taken into account with everything. Thank you!

My experience at Antwerpen with Sam was amazing. Sam was very personable and took his time explaining things and running all of the numbers that I asked for. I ended up with a great deal and he and his colleagues stayed until well after closing to help finish the deal and explain my new car to me. I can’t recommend Antwerpen and Sam enough!

I brought in my 2015 Passat for a routine oil change and I have to say that I was very pleased with the service here! First, I was greeted by most of the service staff there including the service manager Matt Beam which is not something I've experience before at other service centers. My service advisor Rob Ross was thorough and transparent and once my car was finished, they brought it back to me cleaned and sanitized. Definitely a pleasant experience and will be returning again for my next service!
Great Buying Experience With Sales Person - AutoNut
I've been buying cars since 1990 and have always looked at Volkswagons but never bought one. The reason had more to do with the sales people than the cars. Even recently my wife and I were looking to purchase a Tiguan from a local dealership and ended up walking out after waiting for our sales person to reappear. We returned home and I immediately looked on line for another VW dealership and found Ourisman in Laurel. Ourisman had a Tiguan that was the right color, and trim in stock. I clicked the "I'm Interested" button and within minutes I received a call from a sales person, Shane. We made an appointment and Shane had the car waiting out front. We bought the Tiguan for a very fair deal. Throughout the purchase, Shane was very responsive. There were some holdups getting to the finance office and having the car prep'd and Shane was very active in moving things along. Even after the purchase, Shane has been responsive. Our Tiguan came with a defect in the finish on one wheel. Shane is working with their folks to make it right.
In this climate of COVID-19, I want to also add that the people at Ourisman VW were very careful about using hand sanitizer and wearing masks and gloves when needed.

Highly recommend working with Danny Javaherian - carynmazzie
From start to finish, we had an excellent experience purchasing our Volvo XC90 at Ourisman Volvo in Bethesda. I am typically wary of the process but was quickly put at ease by our salesman, Daryoush “Danny” Javaherian, who went above and beyond in the service that he offered us. Danny was extremely attentive and transparent from start to finish, and was focused on our needs throughout.
We give this dealership a 5-star rating and would highly recommend working with Danny.
New Purchase with Trade - Great Experience! - jockman62
I’ve purchase a large number of cars in my time, and some experiences have been painless while others have been a real drag, but the transaction at Pohanka VW in Salisbury was nothing less than EXCELLENT! From the top down, it was a very good experience. The team was professional and courteous throughout the process and that’s hard to find at most dealerships. Notable names worth mentioning who made this a great experience are GM Dan Fitzgerald, Sales Mgr. Cassie Ullrich, Salesman Chris Blanchard and Finance Mgr. Mariah Clock. Each of them were genuine and professional and we will definitely recommend his dealership to anyone looking for a VW or even a used car for that matter.
Smoothest car experience ever!!! - gaclarke38
Worked with Brett and the team on buying a new Passat. From talking on the phone to going to the dealership, you knew they cared about your experience rather than just selling you the car. The process was very smooth. I will only buy from this dealership moving forward.

Yesterday I purchased my second car from Darcars Volkswagen in Silver Spring. The experience was exceptional. They are very tentative to your needs and respectful of your boundaries in terms of price and monthly payment. The process itself was smooth. They do not pressure you into something you feel is not a good fit for you. If you looking to purchase a Volkswagen I highly recommend you go in and see what they can do for you!
I visited Cooks Volkswagen and met Mrs.Teena in December... - Briane556
I visited Cooks Volkswagen and met Mrs.Teena in December of 2018. I went in with my 2015 Lancer and stuck not knowing how to get out of it. She worked her magic and got me into a 2016 Chevy Trax. It wasn’t my favorite car nor what I wanted, but Mrs.Teena promised me that if I made every car payment on time and kept my mileage low on the vehicle to come back to her in 1 year to trade it in. I was hesitant but yesterday March 7th, 2020 I walked into Mrs.Teena’s office and told her I was ready to try. She came back with a set of keys and a huge smile on her face. Mrs.Teena got me approved for a 2020 Volkswagen Tiguan, the SUV I originally went in for back in 2018. She has been such an inspiration and has worked so very hard to get me where I am today. Without Mrs.Teena I would still be driving that 2015 Mitsubishi.
Thank You Mrs.Teena for all you do and being a huge support in getting me into the car I deserve!

VERY bad experience - Matthew
Very frustrating experience in trying to get a portion of a service contract refunded, as I no longer own the vehicle.
From the start, Paul Myers was terrible to work with. He would not return my multiple follow up e-mails and phone calls after the initial phone call I had with him in mid March. It wasn't until June, after I CC'd all the managers on the King VW website, that Paul finally sent me the form he needed me to sign. 3 months, multiple phone calls and emails, and that's how long it took him to just send me the form he needed me to sign.
Two months later, after two calls with VW corporate and a conversation with Paul's boss Charles, I now know that somehow they mailed the check to my old address, even AFTER I caught this mistake in June and Paul Myers verified in writing he had corrected this.
In this final phone call, Paul's supervisor Charles listened to me, was kind, and did waive the $50 service charge the dealership takes out, as he agreed that the level of service I received from Paul Myers was unacceptable. I was disappointed that he did not go so far to take responsibility for it as his direct supervisor, and someone who should have been aware of the situation as he had been copied on my last 3 e-mails to Paul. Again, I appreciate this gesture, but it does not take away from an incredibly frustrating experience. I wanted to be treated fairly and like a valued customer. Instead, I was essentially ignored for months.
My suggestion to the owner would be to remind their team that whether someone is buying a new car, or returning a service contract, they are still customers and should be treated fairly and with the same level of service. In addition, please provide Paul some sorely needed retraining in basic customer service skills. Manager of anything should not be in his title.
TL; DR: They took 5 months to process paperwork that could have been processed in 24 hours. Anyone who has ever been to a car dealership knows that dealerships will bend over backwards to take care of you when they are making the sale. Unfortunately in this case at King VW, the same is not true for taking care of their customers after the sale.
Good experience - sksksk
Richie was my salesmen for one of the last 2015 Golf TDIs made for sale by VW. Richie was honest, forthright and carefully handled the vehicle sale process. He was respectful of my time coming from 35 miles away, and presented no surprises during the sales process. I've not heard good things about VW dealerships but my experience here was easy and above board. Ask for Richie if you're in the market for a VW.
Horrible customer experience - Brian
My vehicle has been in their shop for close to a month for a repairs and still no word on what’s actually wrong with it. If I don’t email the service advisor I don’t hear anything. The loaner they gave was hit and I am trying to a rental to replace that vehicle since they still have mine and they have been utterly useless. Sent the GM an email lets see if they actually respond.
Don't Finance Through Dealership - rsl809
I wish I could review the sales and finance departments at this dealership separately, as my experiences with each department were like night and day. The sales department is great, and if you're interested in a Volkswagen, I strongly recommend working with Rachael. She'll provide you with an itemized quote so that you can compare prices with other dealers. She's not pushy at all, and I found that AutoNation provided the lowest price for the car that I was interested in.
My experience with the finance department was not so great. When I met with the finance manager, I was told that a 1.9 APR only applied to a 36 month loan, and that a 60 month loan had a slightly higher APR. I decided to go with the 60 month loan. I then went home to find that AutoNation was in fact advertising a 1.9 APR for 60 month loans on its website. I contacted my finance manager, who acted surprised and said he'd look into it. A few days (and several phone calls and emails later), I'm told I can drive the 60 miles to the dealership to sign the paperwork for the lower APR. When I asked to be compensated for my time, gas, and mileage, the finance manager refused. Remember, this is a 'mistake' that he made, and I'm expected to waste my time to come in? Thanks, but no thanks. I ended up financing from a bank with the same APR and actually received a snarky email response from Robert. The joke is on him though, as he won't receive a kickback because I'm not financing through the dealership.
If you're interested in a VW and AutoNation offers you the lowest price, either pay in cash, finance through your own bank or credit union, or know the terms and conditions of AutoNation's incentives. (I'd suggest pulling it up on your phone before meeting with finance.)
