Tiara, it was such a pleasant experience during the transaction. You were very patient, kind and professional during the whole process. It was very busy on Saturday but you even assisted us with the car insurance issue. Wow! This was truly heartfelt.
You are an A+ Sales Consultant. ( you deserve a raise)
We would also like to thank Ms. Lisa and all of the other associates that worked behind the scene.

My son previously purchased a Mazda vehicle through Oursman and the salesman, Ali was very helpful so when it came time for me to make a new purchase, Ali was our man. He listened to my wants and needs and placed me with the perfect vehicle on site at Oursman. I drove my new Mazda home that evening. Thank you Ali for a pleasant experience.

Had a great experience buying a car here - drove down from NJ for sales manager Bill who got me approved (not easy) and a great deal in hours. Started out looking for a used or a 2020 but Goldie and Bill had me outta there in an hour and a half in brand new 2021 Jetta. LOVE IT. Highly recommend Bill and Goldie at Ourisman.

With car shopping being in my top three list of most disliked activities, I write this review with a sincere smile on face thinking - BUT this time, it wasn't so bad. I had the pleasure of working with Aurel Maceda at DARCARS Silver Spring in purchasing my new VW Atlas Cross Sport. He was very knowledgeable, easy going, and worked with me every step of the way to close the deal. I highly recommend Aurel "R" and DARCARS VW in Silver Spring!

Just purchased a new VW from Fitzgerald and could not be happier. My salesman Conrad Bergman was friendly, professional and provided me information and pricing without the typical car buying smoke and mirrors. The transaction at Fitzgerald was totally transparent and from start to finish it was a great experience. Go see Conrad if you are looking for a VW.

I went in "just looking" but Ourisman had exactly what I wanted right in my price range. Michael was a very young BUT very thorough salesman - no high pressure nonsense! He answered all of my questions readily. This was the smoothest car-buying transaction I have ever experienced! Love my Forester!
New Purchase with Trade - Great Experience! - jockman62
I’ve purchase a large number of cars in my time, and some experiences have been painless while others have been a real drag, but the transaction at Pohanka VW in Salisbury was nothing less than EXCELLENT! From the top down, it was a very good experience. The team was professional and courteous throughout the process and that’s hard to find at most dealerships. Notable names worth mentioning who made this a great experience are GM Dan Fitzgerald, Sales Mgr. Cassie Ullrich, Salesman Chris Blanchard and Finance Mgr. Mariah Clock. Each of them were genuine and professional and we will definitely recommend his dealership to anyone looking for a VW or even a used car for that matter.

Great customer service and professionalism. I can say that I had a painless experience. I was helped from securing the car that I wanted, able to negotiate the price that o wanted and did not feel pressured to ourchase add ons(i.e. extended warranty, GAP insurance, etc.)
DeMarco was excellent and very knowledgeable.
Highly dissatisfied and disappointed with Lindsay Service... - nadeemnadeem
Highly dissatisfied and disappointed with Lindsay Service (Sterling, VA) as well as Ourisman Service Center(Bethesda, MD). Service Maintenance package is TOTAL SHAM.
I bought 2019 Jetta from Ourisman Bethesda with external paint protection in Jan 2019 and Dec 2019 bought 8 years maintenance plan for a hefty price from the same dealer. I was told, you have paid for 8 maintenance services and external paint protection.
I got my first years maintenance done at Stohlsman near my work place on Feb 14th, 2020 @12k mileage with VA Safety inspection. Experience was super smooth and helpful. I asked them about getting the car polished, they could not see anything on my account wrt Paint protection I bought along with the car. I thought that must have been glitch in the system.
After the first service I hardly drove the car and procrastinated 2 year/20k Service little longer, mainly because of pandemic, low mileage (15.8K miles), work schedule and need to align with my wife's availability for pickup and drop off. Finally on 4/22 upon receiving a mail with option to schedule online, my stars aligned and I scheduled the service with Lindsay on 4/30 requesting a. VA Safety Inspection, b. Recall work and c. 20k maintenance Service.
After going there to drop the car off, Lindsay service rep gave me a shocker that the 20k service has expired and cannot use it. Its been 14 months since the last service and I have to pay from the pocket, though it was fully paid years in advance. I declined the service and asked him to do inspection and recall work. Just when I was leaving, Service advisor came and told me that, car will be ready on Saturday 5/1. I said, that's fine, just perform inspection also tomorrow so that I get May sticker as opposed to April Sticker.
Next day, I called Ourisman Service center, explained service rep in detail what happened to 20k service. He was first apologetic, said you can bring the car here 50 miles away in MD and can perform 20k service but obviously cannot do VA Safety inspection. He kept on saying, you bought it but did not consume it, whatever that means. I requested him to talk to Lindsay or someone in VW, after some more discussion, he put me on hold for 40 minutes with no response.
I had other activities lined up, so I thought I will take it up later and instead decided to get the car back from Lindsay. On Saturday, I did not get a call as previously promised, then I started following up late Saturday night. After 2-3 texts, Monday 2pm, got the response that car is ready for pickup.
When I picked up the car at 4pm, I noticed:
- VA Safety Inspection was done on Friday with April sticker, though I requested to be done next day.
- Invoice said, "Drive through Car wash" was performed. I saw car covered with layer of green pollens, no car wash was done. I saw other cars freshly washed but not my car.
- Recall work was performed.
- 20K service was not performed but under parts section 20k service was marked completed.
This was a pathetic service. I feel Maintenance package is total RIP-OFF. Despite paying in advance, VW refuses to perform the service. Dealers are not responsive and seemed least bothered.
I am very frustrated with the overall experience and attitude shown towards me, to the extent that I don't want to continue with VW, want my money back for the packages I bought. I would like to return the car as well, provided I get my hard earned money back. Hope someone from VW is listening.

Just wanted to take a minute to express my complete... - Ron Lindberg JR
Just wanted to take a minute to express my complete dissatisfaction dealing with Sheehy VW of Hagerstown. My wife and I traveled 2 hours to test drive a VW EOS convertible. Upon driving it we noticed a slight shaking at acceleration. Took car back and told Tim Taylor about it. Tim called Kevin who came down and took it for a drive. He came back said he felt it and would have the service department nook at it on Monday or Tuesday as the day of the test drive was Saturday. Tuesday Tim called and said the car needed new A ARMS and they had too much money in the car and would just sell it at auction. My wife and I made an offer to buy the car and we would get the work done locally. I only offered the price of the car minus the amount to get it repaired. Tim said no they could not do that. Then I started calling. 4 calls to Tim, no reply. 4 calls to Kevin, no reply. Then I called the new car manager. We talked for about 10 minutes. He thought was that because they had so much money in the car that they could repair it and put the repair cost on top of the price of the car. I said no way. The car was already slightly over Kelley Blue Book price. He told me he would get back to me but that they would not sell the car without disclosing the fact that it needed A ARMS. He also told me someone would call me Monday or Tuesday. That was three weeks ago. Another call to Tim and another to Kevin. No response. I have since bought another car. I would not waste my time with any Sheehy dealership again. Car is still for sale. No mention of the A Arm issue. Thanks for reading

Excellent customer service! We recently bought an Atlas from Teena Cardoni. We never felt the pressure or unease that most people feel when buying a car. Teena and the entire team treated us very well. We are very satisfied with our purchase and will definitely be referring our friends and family.

Good experience - sksksk
Richie was my salesmen for one of the last 2015 Golf TDIs made for sale by VW. Richie was honest, forthright and carefully handled the vehicle sale process. He was respectful of my time coming from 35 miles away, and presented no surprises during the sales process. I've not heard good things about VW dealerships but my experience here was easy and above board. Ask for Richie if you're in the market for a VW.
Don't Finance Through Dealership - rsl809
I wish I could review the sales and finance departments at this dealership separately, as my experiences with each department were like night and day. The sales department is great, and if you're interested in a Volkswagen, I strongly recommend working with Rachael. She'll provide you with an itemized quote so that you can compare prices with other dealers. She's not pushy at all, and I found that AutoNation provided the lowest price for the car that I was interested in.
My experience with the finance department was not so great. When I met with the finance manager, I was told that a 1.9 APR only applied to a 36 month loan, and that a 60 month loan had a slightly higher APR. I decided to go with the 60 month loan. I then went home to find that AutoNation was in fact advertising a 1.9 APR for 60 month loans on its website. I contacted my finance manager, who acted surprised and said he'd look into it. A few days (and several phone calls and emails later), I'm told I can drive the 60 miles to the dealership to sign the paperwork for the lower APR. When I asked to be compensated for my time, gas, and mileage, the finance manager refused. Remember, this is a 'mistake' that he made, and I'm expected to waste my time to come in? Thanks, but no thanks. I ended up financing from a bank with the same APR and actually received a snarky email response from Robert. The joke is on him though, as he won't receive a kickback because I'm not financing through the dealership.
If you're interested in a VW and AutoNation offers you the lowest price, either pay in cash, finance through your own bank or credit union, or know the terms and conditions of AutoNation's incentives. (I'd suggest pulling it up on your phone before meeting with finance.)
