I've worked with salespeople at a variety of dealerships. I've bought Lexus, BMW, Honda, more. Chris Adams is by far the most professional salesperson I've run into so far. He helped me close out on a 2017 Terrain Denali. I actually never even knew much about GMC except that they make trucks. Happened to be driving by on the way to a Jeep dealership to shop for the Grand Cherokee Limited, and thought I might as well do my due diligence and check out GMC since they had some good looking SUV's outside. Chris Adams happened to be the salesperson at the door, and I told him I was just exploring. He was the opposite of the hard sell, and more like a high-end concierge at a 5-star hotel. I work in Cambridge, and have done most of my car buying in Boston and Watertown, so it was completely random stopping up here in Lowell. So glad I did! Chris Adams basically asked me what I was interested in, asked interesting questions to try to figure out my goals, and only showed me cars that I might be interested in. When test driving, he also let me drive wherever I wanted with absolutely zero pressure to hurry back to the dealership. It really let me relax and try the car out. Then when we got back, he asked a few more questions to figure out how I felt--no pressure at all, he really was genuine in trying to understand my goals. I left the dealership thinking I'd end up in a Grand Cherokee, but after trying the Cherokee out and feeling the quality and comfort was a level below that of the Terrain, I waited a couple days before contacting Chris again. Not a single phone call from the dealer, which is what I'd requested, since I find phone calls and voicemails tiresome. We started the process over email, and Chris was super responsive and detailed.
A 10 out of 10 experience, I would get another GMC when it's time to get another car if Chris is still around just to deal with him.

Although I did not purchase a vehicle at this dealership due to my own error, I feel compelled to express my gratitude regarding Robert Cappelletti. While I was undecided as to what my wife and I were interested in purchasing, I had been on a hunt for a few months and happened to pass by Lance Buick GMC one particular Sunday and it happened to be after hours. We pulled over to just look at a vehicle. After about 10 minutes, Robert came up to us and introduced himself and offered us his card and stated that if there was any thing he could do for us, just contact him. He was on his way home and was simply trying to help us. He was very pleasant to talk to and not pushy at all and let us be. Long story short, I came back to Robert that following Monday, and he spent quite a bit of time with us trying to find something that fit my needs. Ultimately, I passed on the vehicles due to physical needs. Robert was again, very professional and no push at all. He was again, very pleasant to deal with, and I expressed my gratitude to him for the way he conducted business. Pretty much all the other dealerships I have been to in the last 30 years are like sharks and trying to hold you hostage, NOT HERE! I eventually came back again for a vehicle I was sure I could purchase. Robert did not have what I wanted in stock, but he was able to find one and advised me he could get it. He spent a lot of time arranging that for me and all this time, he never hounded me or kept calling my house etc. He contacted me only when he had info I was expecting from him. My wife and I went to the dealership to finalize everything and was absolutely the most pleasant experience in my life when it comes to purchasing a new vehicle. There has always been stress, tension and even some arguing during the process. Not this time! I was so comfortable, I had to convince myself that all was ok,, I was waiting for the pounce! It did not come. I stopped the process when we realized I made a financial calculation that was incorrect, and it effected my ability to make the purchase. I was stunned and disappointed, and embarrassed. When we realized I could not proceed, Robert and his manager spent some time with me to go over potential options, but I was over my head. At no time did either of them pressure me or make me feel bad for my error. When I am ready to commit, I know where I’m going, and who to see. Best car buying experience in my life! Hands down.

I purchased a truck from Tom Abbott, he was great. I am a contractor so getting to the dealership is tough. I sent a few dealers requests for prices, Tom was the only one to call me back in a timely manner, one dealer actually called me back a week later when I was at dealership taking delivery. Tom had the truck and paperwork all lined after doing everything through phone and email. I met with Joel in finance to finalize the deal, he was also nice and very professional. Mike Moore and his nephew Dan once again proved how lucky Deluca is to have them. Another DiPietro truck delivered by the dynamic duo. Mike was on vacation and Dan stepped up when I walked in to your dealership at 4pm on a Friday with check in hand for full payment. Within one hour Dan dealt with our insurance carrier, got truck ready and plates installed. Mike was on my cell throgout the process making sure it got delivered.

This was my first experience with Colonial Buick. I was searching for a particular color combo and trim which colonial had in stock. There were several dealers that had what i was looking for, however none of them would give me numbers without coming in. Brian was nothing but helpful, cooperative and no pressure. Brian was outstanding. No gimmicks, no pressure, no upsell. Just great, accomodating service. I ended up purchasing the vehicle I was interested in, for a price that I was comfortable with.

Couldn't be happier. It took about an hour to get everything done and be able to swap plates and drive off in my new car. The staff was very professional, courteous and helpful. I was a bit skeptical going there since about a year ago we got a car for my wife (different brand/different dealership) and the experience was not pleasant at all but at Central Buick GMC of Norwood it was nothing like that and we were both pleasantly surprised.

I brought my car in for service 1 1/2 months ago. I wanted it evaluated to see if an issue I was having was covered under what GM calls "special coverage", not a recall per se, but similar. After scheduling an appt, my car was looked at and I was notified that cost was covered under GMs bulletin. However, the work could not be done with $900 worth of additional work that was not covered. It would take a few days to get parts. I started asking around and doing some research and was questioning this "additional work" When I went to pick up my vehicle that day, I asked my service "adviser", Rui, if the additional work was really needed and could he explain it to me. I was rudely told "I can't do one without the other if you want me to put the car on the lift right now I will!" I told Rui there will be no need, as they won't be doing the work. I have since taken my car to a more reputable dealer, where the work was performed under the special coverage from GM at NO COST and no additional work was needed to complete it. They actually held my car because they said it wasn't safe to drive, yet Alden let me take it because I wouldn't agree to to the $900 of additional work. My point, do your homework, ask questions before you agree to let Alden do any work on your vehicle. I saved $900 by getting mine fixed elsewhere.

I was going to trade in my 2015 Gmc 1500 because my lease was up and looking into leasing 2 other vehicle but because he thought I was just dropping off the vehicle and not purschasing another vehicle he came outside to.look at the truck and said I'm not taking this crap who talks like that especially at a dealership never had someone ever said something like that to me while trying to purachase a vehicle .. I went somewhere else the same day to a different gmc dealer made a deal happen
Worst Dealer Service Department EVER - RFA1949
I called the Service Department and made an appointment to mount a couple of tires, do a front end alignment, and do the State inspection. I also told them I would wait for the work to be done. I was given an appointment 10 days after I called and I was to be there at 9:00 AM. I got there at 8:45 AM and the truck was taken ito the service department. I had to go over everything I wanted done again as it appeared that no one wrote it down when I made the appointment.
After about 45 minutes after the truck went in the facility the Jim [behind the counter] came out and told me they could not do the work that I had planned and made an appointment for becasue they were too busy, also they were not going to do the inspection.
WTF DID I MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR? I remained calm and told them that I needed the inspection done as it was required before my return - The inspection was done an it just happenend to flunk and was provided with a Rejection sticker. I was told to bring the truck back in 8 days and I was given an appointment by the service person again and asked me to come earlier in the morning. I asked about the appointment and was told I was all set. The day before I was to return I called and was told that there was no appointmet in the books for myself of the truck.
I WOULD NEVER RETURN TO THIS DEALER TO HAVE ANYTHING DONE. I purchased my truck there [NEW Sierra DENALI - $52K +] and every time I brought it in for service the service department wanted to put me in a loaner so they could have the truck to work on. I always had a bad feeling and I would NEVER leave my vehicle there as I can only imagine what new problems I may have deal with from them having access to the vehicle while I was not there WAITING FOR IT.
SO FROM MY EXPERIENCE - THIS IS ONE SERVICE DEPARTMENT THAT EVERYONE SHOULD STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM.
LAST I HEARD THE CUSTOMER IS RIGHT AND THE SERVICE THAT HAS BEEN SCHEDULED SHOULD BE WRITTEN DOWN AND DONE.
THE DEALERSHIP SERVICE DEPARTMENT SHOULD NOT BE TAKING ON WORK THAT PUTS ASIDE THE SCHEDULED WORK BY CUSTOMERS.
SO STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM ROBERTSON'S SERVICE DEPARTMENT THERE MAY BE WONDERFUL TECHNICIANS THERE BUT THEY'LL NEVER SEE MY TRUCK NOR WILL I EVER SAY ANYTHING BUT HOW I WAS MISTREATED AS A CUSTOMER..
Great Service, unexpected surprise - foodie42
I was really surprised at the excellent attention that was demonstrated by Rob Wayburn & Andrew. I wanted a preowned car within a certain price range. My first experience was with Robert several months prior, unfortunately I was unable to find anything at the dealership. Robert took my information and promised to notify me if anything comes in. At this point I was use to this being the last time I'll ever hear from a sales person. Pre-owned cars are a hit or miss issue as it is. To my great surprise, Robert called several months later with a potential car that will meet what I was looking for. SEVERAL MONTHS ! Rob, was attentive and kind, I actually ended up purchasing not the car Rob called about ( it did meet my needs ), but, a slightly more expensive car. I couldn't be more please with my experience as well as the car. I was treated very fairly & respectively. I has some minor issues that I wanted repaired or replaced. I went to Rob, he walked me to the service department & introduced me to Rich in the service department to make sure I knew who to go to. Rich was also friendly & very patient as I tried to explain my issues. Not a problem well take care of it. Even though this is not a GM product, I will continue to have my car serviced at this dealership. I just can't tell you how great my experience has been with Cape GM, Rob should be commended for his outstanding customer service skills, thus , making this dealership stand out more than others I have experience.

My experience leasing a GMC Acadia through my business was fantastic. Initial contact was made by me online. Jim sent me an email asking a few questions and he followed up with a voicemail. I emailed Jim back with what I was looking for and within a day he sent me a couple of options; I knew from online research that the deals Jim sent me were well below MSRP and they were very competitive. I have to admit that after looking up a few different vehicle makes online the Acadia was probably #3 on my preferred the list but the hassle free, ease of doing business with Lance put them over the top for me. Jim drove the Acadia to my office so I could take a test drive. I liked the car and told Jim to find me one (the one I test drove was almost exactly the model I wanted but not quite). He found me the car, I went to the dealership that night, signed some paperwork with Geoff who was very helpful setting up the lease through my company... and the car was delivered to me a couple of days later. The entire process went off without a hitch, Jim was attentive and made sure I got in the car I wanted, there was no pressure or shady tactics one sometimes sees from other car dealerships. All in all, I'm very happy with everyone at Lance.
