It truely was a pleasure working with Troy Coan, he is an impressive young man. I had to do most of my searching online, because of the nation wide shortage of inventory and most of my communication with Troy was via email since I lived an hour from the dealership. Troy was very responsive to all of my questions, even on his day off. I showed up when the dealership doors opened on Saturday expecting to have to kill some time, and Troy was there at his desk with my car ready for the test ride. Before arriving, I was offered a very fair below MSRP price on a lease, despite the current demand for cars, and it was honored without any games or gimmicks. Good old fashion honesty and respect ! Troy made a point to tell me that their dealership takes pride in this type of business and have grown to be the largest Buick-GMC dealership by sticking to it. I wish they were located closer to me, but I will travel the distance for that type of service, and I'm very glad to know it still exists.

I should have known something was strange at a dealership that has Christmas decorations in their bathroom in the middle of August.
Anyway, I traded my Mother's 2012 for a 2017 Buick Enclave. The 2012 was pretty beat up with 200K miles on it so they only gave me $1,000.00 for the trade. Fine, it is what it is.
I gave my mother my 2015 Enclave so she would have something to drive. When we arrived to take delivery on the 2017 I realized that the 2015 Buick had a crack in the rear tail light. The parts department said it was a $575.00 part. I was pretty bummed. After I left, it occurred to me that they could have given me the tail light on the 2012 no problem since it had a whole bunch of dents in it anyway, who cares. I called and asked the sales guy sent me to the business manager who said he had to talk to parts about it. Didn't call me back. When I called him, he told me to call the sales guy. After more games and nonsense, they declined my reasonable request for the tail light off the old banged up 2012 Enclave.
I got on the highway only to discover that the wheel of the 2017 now shakes when I apply the breaks at around 70 MPH. The car is supposed to be certified used. Why wasn't this fixed? So I live on the North Shore, and the business manager "Tim" had a very devil-may-care attitude about it. As if I have all the time in the world to drive back to Norwood - no problem.
If you can, go elsewhere to buy a car if you want a Buick or GMC.

John Goucher our sales associate at Diamond Chevrolet, GMC, Cadillac was fantastic along with everyone else we met while purchasing a new 22 GMC Sierra 1500. Great people all around they made us feel comfortable and like we were part of the dealership family before the decision was made to purchase the vehicle. He was very attentive to our needs and wants for our next vehicle purchase and made sure we were happy with the process and the vehicle that we ended up purchasing. The worst dealer we've every dealt with. The salesperson did not know that we could finance through our own bank. Because we did not finance through them, they never added the actual lien holder to the title but sent it directly to us. We have had to work with the bank, insurance company and registry to get the lien holder added. The sales person also told us that they would reimburse us for the cost of the inspection sticker. I sent the receipt and copy of sticker back in December and am still waiting to be reimbursed. Not sure why we had to pay dealer fees which usually include sticker, running to the registry etc. since we've had to handle this ourselves. I do not recommend this dealer.

I went in with my husband to look at new vehicles, as I’ve been considering trading in my current vehicle.
First of all, the sales rep acted like she hates her job and was not really friendly or enthusiastic. And then, after being insulted with a ridiculously low trade-in value of my 2016 Rogue with less than 100,000 miles on it, we inquired as to *roughly* what monthly payments would be given what they wanted to sell me a particular vehicle for and after my trade in. We were told, “we won’t know until we check with the bank.” I told them verbatim, “what does that mean? you’re not going to do a hard inquiry on my credit right now, are you? Because I don’t want a hard inquiry on my credit report right now.” (if I didn’t find something I liked there, why ruin credit score in case I find one somewhere else that I was committed to buying, right?) We were told that they weren’t going to do a hard inquiry, but in order to “check with the bank,” I had to sign a form. Since being told they weren’t going to do a hard pull, I signed a piece of paper figuring they’d do a soft pull. Fast forward 10 days, I do a quick creditkarma check because I found a vehicle that I’m committed to buying, and guess what? They xxxxx did it, and now my score has gone down. My husband then called and spoke with a manager to try and sort it out, and they defaulted to, “well she signed the form giving us permission to,” and my husband told the guy that we had been told that they weren’t going to do a hard pull. The guy basically said ‘oh well’, and then actually had the nerve to ask if we were still interested in finding a vehicle with them!
They could have done what the next dealership initially did—aside from superb customer service—and ask me to pull up my creditkarma account so as not to disrupt my credit when I wasn’t even sure if I wanted a vehicle from them yet.
I’m very disappointed in this dealership‘s antics, and rest assured, I will not be buying a vehicle with them.

Beware, they provided me with a signed 172 point inspection document that fraudulently showed they had inspected the vehicle for damage and it was within GMC Certification standards. When damage was discovered a few days later by another GMC dealership they would not stand behind their mistake or take any responsibility. I would not recommend them nor would I ever buy from them again.

I drive a lot so I usually bring my car in for an Oil change about once a month, the service department is friendly and they treat you like part of the family. I always hear horror stories of people bringing there car to the dealer and I truly cannot relate, will never go anywhere else for service and definitely will be buying my next car from Robertson's!

I was really surprised at the excellent attention that was demonstrated by Rob Wayburn & Andrew. I wanted a preowned car within a certain price range. My first experience was with Robert several months prior, unfortunately I was unable to find anything at the dealership. Robert took my information and promised to notify me if anything comes in. At this point I was use to this being the last time I'll ever hear from a sales person. Pre-owned cars are a hit or miss issue as it is. To my great surprise, Robert called several months later with a potential car that will meet what I was looking for. SEVERAL MONTHS ! Rob, was attentive and kind, I actually ended up purchasing not the car Rob called about ( it did meet my needs ), but, a slightly more expensive car. I couldn't be more please with my experience as well as the car. I was treated very fairly & respectively. I has some minor issues that I wanted repaired or replaced. I went to Rob, he walked me to the service department & introduced me to Rich in the service department to make sure I knew who to go to. Rich was also friendly & very patient as I tried to explain my issues. Not a problem well take care of it. Even though this is not a GM product, I will continue to have my car serviced at this dealership. I just can't tell you how great my experience has been with Cape GM, Rob should be commended for his outstanding customer service skills, thus , making this dealership stand out more than others I have experience.

My family and I were driving from VA to a wedding in MA, in our 2017 GMC Yukon Denali, when we began experiencing problems with the brake system. We called Swanson Buick GMC from the road and spoke to Ken in the service department. Although they were fully booked and were heading into a holiday weekend, Ken agreed to take a look at our car. We dropped it off that evening and the car was fixed by late afternoon the next day. Ken and the entire service department were amazing. We cannot thank them enough for going above and beyond and keeping our family safe on our road trip. Thank you so much!
