So far this has been the WORST car buying experience. Where to start? First, we told them we had a preapproval from a lender of our choice and gave them the pre approval code and yet they STILL ran our credit through other lenders. The process itself also literally took ALL DAY. I’m not joking. All. Day. We kept wondering what was taking them so long and now we know why. They kept running our credit through a bunch of different lenders despite the fact that we already had the lender of our choice pre approve us. We didn’t know this until we started getting letters in from other lenders saying we had applied through them, so whatever you do, DO NOT fill out that application with your social security number if you already have a pre approval because that gives them permission to run your credit even if you’ve told them not to. You don’t need that application to buy a car if you already have a lender. Secondly, once we get the truck, within 4 days, the headlight completely blows out. Not just the bulb. The entire housing is burned out and melted. We call them and let them know and at this point we’re thinking about returning it because why is a 2021 truck burning through and entire headlight unit. We’re thinking the vehicle has electrical problems because we notice the interior cabin light also has a short and works sometimes and sometimes doesn’t. Mind you, the entire reason we purchased this vehicle is so my husband can drive it to work as he works out of state and is gone for long periods of time. He is unable to drive the truck he JUST PURCHASED FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF HAVING A VEHICLE TO DRIVE TO WORK back to work with him because they said they don’t have the parts to fix the truck and that it would take some time to get it taken care of. Really uneasy at this point because after the actual purchasing experience with the shady running of our credit through other lenders despite our telling them not to, and that process literally taking ALL DAY, we now just bought a truck he can’t even drive to work which was the whole point. This is all within ONE WEEK. In addition they’re telling us they can’t fix it in time? Well they come up with the idea to loan my husband a Charger off the lot to drive to work while they “fix” his truck and agree to drive the truck to LA to his work office and swap the truck and the charger out while he is at work so that when he gets off he can just drive his truck home. I don’t like that idea bc he won’t know if the truck works or is truly fixed until he gets off the boat in a month. Meanwhile, they’re continually calling and asking for money for a down payment they forgot to get despite us being there all day long and trying to pay them the down payment. (Maybe that was a sign). I don’t feel comfortable giving them any down payment at this point considering my husband has driven the truck a total of MAYBE 6 days since purchasing it. Well, two weeks later, I call to find out where the truck is and what the deal is bc have heard nothing from them. Mind you we have paid all but 300.00 of the down payment at this point despite not actually having a functional truck in our possession. I call and tell them nobody is getting another penny until I know xxx is going on with my husband’s truck. The person at the shop says “we haven’t gotten around to looking at it because we’ve been short staffed but yours is up next.” DA FAWK!? You mean my husband’s truck has been sitting there and not even been LOOKED at!? The only communication we have from these people, despite calling them multiple times with no calls back, is when they are calling asking for the remainder of the down payment which they are NOT getting because we don’t even have the dang truck! In fact, we are pulling out of this shady buying experience and going somewhere where we can get a vehicle that doesn’t have a major issue as soon as we drive off the lot and doesn’t have shady practices like running through several lenders even though we had a pre approval through a lender of our choice. No Bull? More like No Thanks.

Fast & efficient..had me out in less than 35 minutes. Would use again. Was recommended by 3 friends who have done business there for years. Nice waiting area. Clean restroom. Quick check out for payment & cashier seemed really friendly. Price was comparable & that says a lot since my Nissan uses synthetic oil.

I went in to see about trading in my car. My mechanic told me I needed 4 spark plugs and 2 cylinders bc my engine in misfiring. Blackburn told me I need a new engine which is $5000 and that I would only get $2000 from them for my trade in. I feel like they were trying lying to me because I’m a woman. I have bought 3 or 4 vehicles from them since the 90’s and from Brother Blackburn himself. I will never go back to this place again . They have lost my business.

My husband and I have been trying to trade our car for a year and a half. Because he had low credit at the time of purchase, we had a lot of negative equity. After being turned away with little to no help from other dealerships, we decided to try one last time. We chose Howard Wilson Chryster Jeep Dodge Ram in Flowood, Ms. I wish we had gone there First! We were immediately greeted by Vikki Johnson. She waited patiently as we explained our situation. She began to show us vehicles that had the most incentives, explaining that this would help balance our negative equity. Only 10 minutes in and she had already done so much more than anyone else at the other dealerships. We finally chose a 2016 Jeep Patriot. We weren't very hopeful, but she remained positive. She was very comforting as we waited. The entire atmosphere of the establishment was laid back and welcoming. Sadly, it was a Saturday and the finance companies available wouldn't finance us without a down payment that we could not afford. Hope was not lost. She told us that John would contact other finance companies first thing Monday morning. We were afraid they would forget about us, but to our surprise, she contacted us first thing Monday morning to let us know that John was getting started. She kept us updated throughout the day. Finally, we were approved with a down payment that we could afford! They washed our Brand new Jeep and filled it up with gas! They explained everything carefully, my husband signed papers, and now we are the proud owners of a brand now Jeep! We are beyond excited. I HIGHLY recommend Howard Wilson Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram to anyone! They have the best incentives, best customer service, and best overall atmosphere. I really felt like they were working for us, not for profit. I cannot say enough kind words about them! We will never go anywhere else!

VERY POOR SERVICE - pissed off jeep owner
I went there because I had bought from them in the past. However I didn't know that the same people were not running the business now. They were more than happy to make a good deal to sale me a 2019 Jeep Cherokee latitude , but then they refuse to even talk about servicing it when I got water in the lights and then the hood started coming up. I had to take it to another Jeep dealer to get warranty work done. The other dealership said that they had been getting a lot of complaints about Crowson Auto World in Louisville MS. I definitely want be back to them, and I'm already planning to buy a new Ram. So Crowson lost that 65,000 deal.

I brought my vehicle in because of a roaring noise I heard. They replaced struts but told me it was still going to make a noise until I got new tires. I took car to a tire place. There was a bearing going out which the Dodge place never mentioned. When that was repaired I didnt hear the noise anymore. I pd. $1200 to Dodge for their so-called repairs then had to pay about $700 more for more repairs at other shop. Heritage is fine for lightweight stuff..but I really felt like I was just told what I wanted to hear because I was a woman who couldnt dispute them. Well, they put me in a possibly dangerous situation with the bad bearing. Im very dissapointed that I was treated like this.

Five years ago my family purchased a Jeep from this dealership. Since that time I have spent time with the employees in Service Dept., Parts Dept., and the Accounts Receivable Dept. I have always been taken care of in a timely manner from a knowledgeable staff. I have always been treated with respect (I am a female customer). I was never treated as if I was unimportant, uninformed, or "ignorant", because of my gender. The Service and Parts Department (because in my book they go hand in hand, what have you got, if one of these groups is not performing up to standard!!), have always given me quotes that were fair in price and accurate in addressing the problem (which have been few). I love my Jeep! So in conclusion…Do you want to be treated as a valued customer…Do you want to know that when you need a repair or just a normal service visit that you have your own knowledgeable, helpful, honest, reliable staff and dealership to help you with any situation that may occur…McMullan Motors, Hattiesburg, MS, is the dealership for you!

I FELT LIKE I WAS BUYING A $20 PIZZA INSTEAD OF A $30000 NEW CAR. WAS SO DISSATISFIED WITH THE EXPERIENCE I DROVE 110 MILE TO MEMPHIS AND BOUGHT A CAR WITH MORE OPTIONS, BETTER PRICE, BETTER INTEREST RATE, LOWER PAYMENT AND GOT MORE MONEY FOR MY TRADE IN AND ONLY HAD TO MAKE ONE TRIP.

It is sooooo refreshing to walk into a dealer that is honest and not pushy. These guys worked hard to get my business. And they wanted to find me exactly what I was looking for no matter the extra work it took to do so. Devin was my salesman and he and Marcus made the experience a great one, unlike any other car buying experience I've ever had. It is usually stressful and dealers tend to not care at all about your time, seemingly purposely trying to waste it. Not these guys - they were honest, straight forward, offered a fair amount for my trade, highly communicative, and they didn't try holding me there for ages for no reason. Even though right at first they didn't have exactly what I wanted , they weren't pushy. They offered me options and solutions after LISTENING to what it was I was looking for.
The shop is also excellent, they took care of everything proficiently and quickly.
You couldn't ask for better service than that of Bayside. Thank you guys!
