If I could give zero stars, I would. I’ve had two outrageous experiences with this Range Rover dealership, and it’s clear they are more interested in squeezing every dollar they can from their customers than actually providing honest, competent service. Let me start with the first situation: I brought my vehicle in for what turned out to be a simple wheel bearing issue. Instead of identifying and fixing that, I was presented with an absurd quote of nearly $20,000 for an extensive list of “necessary” repairs. Thankfully, I trusted my gut and got a second opinion. Another reputable mechanic quickly diagnosed the real issue, just the wheel bearing, and fixed it for a tiny fraction of the price. That was my first red flag. Fast forward to more recently: I brought the car in again, this time just to have the brakes bled. Simple enough, right? Wrong. They hit me with another ridiculous estimate, about $7,000. According to them, my car supposedly needed extensive work that simply didn’t add up with what I was experiencing. Again, I took it to an independent mechanic, who not only correctly diagnosed the issue, but did the entire job for $1,200. He even confirmed that Range Rover had misdiagnosed my vehicle, again. At this point, it’s impossible to chalk this up to incompetence alone. It feels intentional. Either they are wildly unqualified, or they are actively trying to scam their customers, neither of which is acceptable, especially at a luxury brand dealership. What’s most disappointing is the complete lack of integrity. You expect premium service when you own a vehicle like a Range Rover, but what you actually get here is a shameless cash grab, inflated estimates, and dishonest diagnoses. I strongly urge anyone considering service here to get a second opinion before authorizing anything. Don’t fall for the Range Rover name, this dealership does not stand for quality or trustworthiness. Do your homework, save your money, and avoid this place at all costs.

If you're looking for an unforgettable experience at Piehler Jaguar and Land Rover of Rochester, then look no further—because you will certainly *never* forget how miserable it can be to entrust your car to a dealership that can’t even identify a problem, let alone fix it. I recently brought my car in for service, and to say it was a disaster would be an understatement. It took them *one full week* just to get my car into the shop. That’s right, a week—during which I was treated to an endless series of excuses about how they only had one technician who specializes in my type of car (and apparently he’s always “in training,” whatever that means). Meanwhile, they spent more time explaining the size of their service area and the impressive distances they cover, than actually diagnosing my vehicle. By the time they finally did get around to looking at my car, they still couldn’t figure out what was wrong. If this is what passes for customer service at a *luxury* dealership, I can’t imagine what the standard is for the competition. It’s almost as if they believe their brand name alone should be enough to compensate for the glaring lack of competence or care. For a place that prides itself on high-end vehicles, Piehler Jaguar and Land Rover might want to consider investing in more than just the brand. Perhaps it’s time to actually *train* their staff to handle the vehicles they sell—and maybe, just maybe, stop turning their customers’ service appointments into endless, frustrating exercises in wasted time. Avoid at all costs.
