After a frustrating and disappointing situation at CarMax, which resulted in returning a vehicle, finding Armstrong Volkswagen felt like a breath of fresh air. From the moment we walked in, we felt like we were in good hands. The entire buying process was incredibly smooth and stress-free. Although we weren’t able to drive the car home that night due to some minor safety-related maintenance (such as replacing brake lights), Sam and the team kept us fully informed and made sure everything was taken care of properly before we took delivery. It was clear they prioritized safety and quality. One of the biggest surprises was how easy the financing process was. Our credit union happened to be one of Armstrong Volkswagen’s preferred lenders, which made the entire transaction seamless—much simpler and quicker than what we experienced at CarMax. To top it off, there was a small cosmetic issue in the trunk—a cracked plastic piece—that I had planned to fix myself since it was purely aesthetic and under $100. To my surprise, I received a text the very next day letting me know that Armstrong was going to take care of it for us at no cost. That level of service and attention to detail really stood out. Every person we interacted with at the dealership was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure we were happy. It’s rare to find that kind of customer care these days, and we truly appreciate it. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Armstrong Volkswagen to anyone looking for a trustworthy dealership and a great car-buying experience.

My wife and I recently mad an offer on a 2013 Honda Civic sedan. They were asking 13,000, we agreed on 12,500 and went to sign the contract. We went in an office and the finance manager showed us a paper that had the deal itemized. 12,500 + a warranty for 2,300 that equaled 15,000 and change due to the warranty and DMV costs. The finance manager told us that the only way they can sell us the car for the agreed price of 12,500 was if we bought a 2,300.00 warranty because they wouldn’t make any money on the deal. So they wouldn’t sell us the car for the agreed on price of 12,500.00. Very unethical to agree on a price then not sell said car unless you buy a 2,300.00 warranty ! Beware beware beware of Medford Voltzwagon, Medford BMW or Medford Nisan. They are all owned by the same owner.

Buyer Beware-I test drove a car I really liked and then filled out an online credit check which they said was necessary before they could tell me my lease option. I was then called by the salesperson and told I qualified for what seemed like a really good lease deal. I was told to drop by after work to fill out the paperwork which would only take 30 minutes. It took 3 hours during which time the price went up significantly twice. First the finance manager blamed the salesperson. Then he tried to blame my credit which is well over 800 and then the VW credit company. When I asked to see a break down of the offer he kept me waiting for another half hour and then came back with his boss who then informed me the interest rate had just gone up and thus the monthly payment was actually $154 more a month than I was promised a few hours earlier. This is the second time I have had a bad experience with the finance department. I left pissed and without a car as I abhor manipulative, predatory tactics. The service center staff are nice but I wouldn’t buy a car from them again.
