I do not leave reviews lightly, and I do not take vehicle repair lightly. When I am spending nearly a month’s pay to repair my vehicle, the bar is extremely high for both customer service and technical knowledge. I would gladly pay more for truly great service, but with East Tennessee Ford, I did not have to. I do not regret my choice and feel that it was money well spent. The Service Department at East Tennessee Ford exceeded every expectation we had. Thomas Williams, our Service Advisor, was outstanding. He was honest, reliable, and truly professional from start to finish. Melissa in the Warranty Department went to bat for us against one of the worst service contracts out there, Endurance, which was not purchased from this dealership, and for good reason. She fought hard to make sure we were taken care of, and that kind of advocacy is rare. Service Manager Doug clearly runs a top notch operation, and Jimmy made the pickup process smooth and easy. Every technician involved deserves recognition as well. Our 14 year old Focus now drives like it is brand new. The turnaround time was incredible. The vehicle was fully diagnosed in just one day, despite needing three major repairs, tires, and several overdue critical maintenance services. Even more impressive, the cost was very reasonable and comparable to independent shops, while still providing true dealership level expertise and service without the typical markup. As a woman with extensive professional experience in the automotive industry, both in dealership service departments and at the corporate level for a major manufacturer, I can confidently say this. I was treated with respect, communicated with clearly, and never once talked down to or dismissed. That alone sets this team apart from many others. This was our first time with this dealership, but we are far from new to working with service departments, and this was without question one of the best experiences we have ever had. I am more than willing to put my personal and professional reputation behind recommending this service department to anyone. They have earned a customer for life.

You're service department is awful. What is the point of taking online appointments if when the customer shows up you just tell them that if they drop their car you will look at it in a week or so? I made appointment last week to have my car looked at. I have a transmission code popping up. You're service page asks for all details pertaining to why you are bringing car in. So why would nobody call me to let me know that you wouldn't be able to honor the appointment and would need to keep my car for a week or longer?? When I asked service writer why they took appointment and didn't call she said she just looks at appointment not the reason. She was rude and I didn't appreciate it. Ive been trying not to drive car much in case it's a big issue. I drive it all the way from my house to dealership for appointment I made last week and I get told you can't look at it for over a week? If it was going to be big repair I was considering buying a car from Barnett. I will be sure to let everyone I Know not to bring their car to Russell Barnett or to buy a car.

We came all the way from Springfield Tn to pick up the Navigator L we wanted. We had already been on the phone with Thomas getting him to send pictures and asking all kinds of questions. Thomas White was great, he had the Navigator all clean and ready to go when we got there the paper work didn't take long at all. We really appreciate everything they did he even set up our phones and door locks for us so my husband and I could talk to each other on the way home we were in separate cars at this time.. We will be recommending them to all our family and friends.

I am an 81 year old retired minister and I live in Anniston, Alabama. (Roll Tide). I was in search for a late modle Lincoln Town Car. I used a search engine and located a 2009 Town Car at Moss Motor Co in Tennessee. I called and talked to one of their salesmen (Ben). I cannot tell you how many times I have purchased cars in the last 50 p;lus years. This was the best car buying experience I EVER had. Ben was one of the most helpful salesman I ever dealt with. I drove to Tenn with my wife and it was HOT and when we arrived Ben met us and welcomed us and gave us a cold drink. Then we met the used car manager who was also very cooperative and helpful. I was really floored when they bought our lunch. Who ever heard of such a thing. These guys are really "unreal". No doubt this was the best car buying experience I EVER had. I had to pinch myself to make sure I was still alive. I would encourage you to check these guys out . Fantastic. Unbelieveable. Every car dealer could learn from this company. A special thanks to Ben and the Used Car Manager for their help in making our vist so enjoyable.
