I wasn’t satisfied with the one I almost got and he found The One. I also had credit problems and I knew it would be a trouble finding one. Brandon found one. My husband bought a 2020 GMC Sierra from Garber Randall GMC in Canandaigua this past May, and in under 90 days we’ve already made three service trips—each one more outrageous than the last. In week one the tires were so badly out of balance the truck vibrated at highway speeds, yet we received no apology—just a quick fix and sent on our way. On purchase day our salesman, Raymond Burke, promised a second key at no charge; weeks of empty phone calls blaming the previous owner for “forgetting” to ship it only ended when we returned in person to pick up a complimentary replacement. Then, just last week, my husband was cruising on the highway when the oil light blazed on and the engine went bone-dry. Garber Randall GMC’s “solution,” as relayed by head of service David Hoe, was to drive another 600 miles to see if the oil consumption would settle, then bring it back—because it’s “more than likely” an engine failure requiring a teardown and rebuild, covered for just two years. At drop-off Tuesday David Hoe acted clueless about our previous issues, circling answers without offering any timeline or accountability. Their courtesy loaner lacked running boards—especially problematic since my husband had previous knee surgery. When we asked for a different vehicle, we were told the only available vehicle was the 2025 model we were in, which still wouldn’t solve the entry issue. What should have been a short repair turned into an uncomfortable two-week ordeal—and something about this whole experience doesn’t make me feel secure with my purchase moving forward. A 2020 Sierra should never need tire rebalancing, a replacement key, and an engine rebuild before its first anniversary—and a dealership that dodges responsibility, shrugs at safety issues, and leaves you stranded on the highway isn’t earning your trust. Buyer beware.

If there should be a rating lower than one star. They do not deserve the one star. There are wonderful sales associates, however, when you get to the management division, they are liars, rude, unprofessional and completely lacking ethics. Stay away from this dealership! Even if means you have to travel 50-60 miles in any other directions, please do. The management team is massively rude and lacks even a small sign of empathy. Their style when dealing with the elderly is something that the Attorney General of New York should look into. Shame on the leadership of this car dealership and shame on anyone that knowing works at this dealership and knows how they treat the elderly. I am just grateful that I caught on to the deal before it was signed by my elderly mother. Avoid them at all cost! Again, most of the sales associates are wonderful people and work hard and are ethical, however when one gets to the finance management managers, the true colors show. My mother was going to pay cash for a brand new vehicle, and promised the required items on the car that she wished. NONE of the requirements that she wanted were on the car. She was not allowed to see the car until the paperwork was done either. "They were polishing," the car for her. Once the car arrived I went to look at it and make sure that it was she requested, and of course the two requirements that she requested were not on the car. The salesman apologized profusely for the mistake, however the finance manager did not care. He would not do anything about the lack of equipment that my mother requested and said either walk or accept the car. Needless to say, I pulled the deal and to which the finance manager said, "hey don't worry this car will be sold at an even higher price." Absolute disgusting and unethical behavior. AVOID SIMMONS ROCKWELL!!!!!!

They called the police on me for 'stealing a rental' while I was in the hospital. Blaise Mazda sold me a car with one fob thst only works part time. It finally died, and I was referred to Blaise GMC. They ordered me a key, but would not come to me to program the fob, or tow the car. They were kind enough to give me a rental, as I was having a major surgery. I get out of the hospital to a message saying they reported it stolen. They said they'd send a tow truck to my house to get my car, and I can return the rental. No, no. They sent a driver to pick up the rental. The drivers were kind, and agreed that my decision was ridiculous. He called someone at the dealership, and they called the POLICE. They told the police there was no rental agreement and that I was 'racking up tickets' which the cop immediately shot down, as i had a copy of the rental agreement, hospital discharge paperwork, and he ran my information prior to coming. To make matters even crazier, they vehicle upgrade manager, Larry, called the animal shelter I work and and said that someone 'dumped a domestic rabbit in his yard' and that it needed to be rescued. I have never in my life experienced something this insanely unprofessional. So now I'm out almost 1000 for new fobs.

Wish I could leave a zero. I found a new car on their website that we have been looking for. Spoke with “Jess” who said it was still available. Scheduled and appointment to look at the vehicle as we had to drive 2 hours to get there. I was told to meet “Nate” when I got there. I called before leaving to verify the vehicle was still there and the exact location. The vehicle was still available. When arriving two hours later, I walked in the store and asked for Nate. Nate wasn’t there. I told the guy that greeted me why I was there and he had no clue what I was talking about. After an hour of searching and phone calls the manager finally had to admit the car was not at that location but another location and was sold. So I’m busy calculating the time(6 Hrs) mileage(214), and expenses($65 at Applebee’s to soothe my wife)I incurred for the incompetence of a unprofessional “Family owned” business.

Terrible customer service no help after the sale with factory warranty. Truck is a brick with a service state of over a month. After buying two trucks from Davison's I would never go back. Last October I purchased a used 2500 GMC Denali with only 11,000 miles expecting a great truck. Today it died on the road as I was leaving a job site. It only has 18,000 mi and has a full factory warranty remaining. I had a towed to the closest GM dealership wish could not service it until August 29th. I called Davison's asking what could be done and was told they could get me in on the 28th. This would be a month without my truck that I use for business. I was told that I could be put on the cancellation list but most people do not cancel so I would have to wait the month. I expressed my displeasure with this but was given no satisfaction. The person I spoke to in service on the phone was probably one of the worst people that I have ever dealt with in customer service. They offered no solutions, had no answers and had no compassion for my situation. Buying a truck of the size and trim level is certainly an investment and I would expect the dealership to treat me better. It's obvious all they wanted was a sale and not to deal with anything after. Calling back again I was able to speak to someone in sales that offered their apologies but could not help me. So right now I have a brick of a truck that will be out of service for at least a month with no loaner and no answers. Terrible customer service go elsewhere.
