We compared this new/used vehicle shopping experience to a variety of online trade sites, and we would hands down highly recommend this Wexford, Pa based Chevrolet dealership. Most importantly the staff (Brad, Alex, Domenic, etc...) that makes it all worth the effort, and an easy process!! We love it !

Customer of Sun since 1990. Haven't had any issues until yesterday, 08/15/25. The issue is not with any of the employees, they are all great. It's with the cost of the replaced parts. Vehicle, 1998 C5 Corvette. Fault codes indicated two defective rear O2 sensors. Service was performed in a timely manor, BUT the cost of the sensors was WAY OVER THE TOP. The sensors , genuine GM parts, can be bought by anyone for $63.28 each on GMParts.com. Sun charged $525.30 plus labor. I did question this cost and was issued a $50.00 credit..

My entire experience, although many people may have been involved the absolute star of the show was my salesperson Melinda. Before deciding on a dealership, I was on the phone with many, including some Chevy dealerships much closer to my house. Melinda was far and away the most interested, helpful and patient salesperson I talked to. Because buying a car can be very high stress, emotional, and heavy financial decision, I didn’t want to enter that environment and deal with someone who wasn’t interested in helping me. I didn’t come in with all the answers or know all the features on every trim that I wanted, so I needed someone with some willingness and patients to help me figure out what I’m going to be happy with.

Purchased a new vehicle from Tri-Star Chevrolet. Absolutely love the vehicle. Don't love the deception and lying that went with it. Sales Manager tells me the car had a nano coating on the paint installed at the dealership and that it will cost extra since it's already on the car. I agree. Sales Manager and sales rep both let slip that the car is having the coating put on while I'm on the way to pick it up. I call them out on it during a phone call after the sale. Sales Manager denies that's what happened. When we are done he doesn't hang up his phone and I get to listen to him for the next 10 minutes tell someone else at the dealership how he lied to me because they wanted to make more on the car. During the call he tells his co-worker the General Manager, and I presume owner(he used their names) wanted to make more on the car and "what was he supposed to do". Confront Sales Manager and he eventually concedes he lied to me. Speak with General Manager and he tries to justify it before also conceding I was mistreated and lied to. No resolution beyond that. Be very careful if you choose to purchase from them.

This is the 3rd time that I had my car in for the exact same reason ..... my brakes!!!! Once I had to have it towed back from Columbus Ohio. Sean and Zack were no help at all. The dealership tends to blame the customers, and from what I've heard from other people, they've had the same issue with the dealership and have chosen not to return. I wish I had known that before I bought this "lemon". All 3 times that I found my brakes were faulty, I was driving on I-70 and almost wrecked, and once I was into the back of a semi-truck! This time, when I took it in, I sat in the waiting room from 9:00 until 2:30 (and yes Sean, I know I did not have an appt.). In between there, I was not told that the company shut down for a company picnic until I went looking for someone to give me an update on my car. This was on July 3rd, and it is now July 18th, and they are telling me that they are not going to fix my car! It is still under warranty!!! What a joke Whiteside's is!

I buy a truck or a car every year or so between my business and my personal needs, so I am a bit more familiar with the buying process. Having said that, I don't know whether these guys are dishonest, just incompetent or a combination of both, I caught them trying to charge me a few hundred dollars more on fees and taxes. I normally would have walked out, but because I drove all the way from Long Island, NY located right outside of NYC, I had to waste a couple of hours of my time pointing out the "mistakes." Because of the shortage of trucks, we decided to go out all the way to the Pittsburg area to get the right combination of the capabilities and options. Even when we were trying to register the vehicle in NYS DMV, we were told that these guys forwarded incorrect paperwork and that the whole paperwork had to be sent back to the dealership and send back out to DMV again. I ended up making multiple trips to DMV because of it. Additionally, there is a program called Business Choice which would enable us to receive an additional $500 rebate. But because these guys were not familiar with the program, I ended up wasting a lot of time again, and we ended up not receiving the rebate. I spoke with the regional coordinator of the program, and I was told that these guys really do not sell too many commercial vehicles and that they are probably not very familiar with the program. I don't mind them not knowing about it, but I do mind them not trying. If you are thinking of buying a car or a truck from these guys, please be aware, lest you end up wasting time like me.

The salesman we talked to over the phone couldn't have cared less about the vehicle we wanted to purchase. He basically told us there isn't any mark up on the specific vehicle we were looking for, therefore it was obvious there wasn't enough interest in his part due to not making enough money on the sale. He did NOTHING to try to help us whatsoever and was very arrogant. We went to another dealer and came home with a new vehicle at a price we we happy with from a dealership that was OUTSTANDING and very informative and respectful. That dealership would be Bowser Chevrolet in Monroeville Pa.

I don't likie to give bad reviews, but this one is a long time coming. Do not buy a car here. I had issues at the start purchasing my Trailblazer 2023 new. They added on all kinds of extra charges, and did not tell me, rushed me through the process and when finished, my car payments were much higher than what they should have been. I managed to go through all the protocol to get my money back from them, but they gave it back. If you purchase, watch those extra fees! Secondly, my 2023 Trailblazer had to be towed to the closest chevy dealership to me (or it would cost me extra to have towed more than 25 miles) - we are on the second day, not looked at yet, and they won't give me a loaner until they look at the car. I understand they can be busy, but I need to be at work and no one will help me with a loaner. Not the chevy dealership I purchased from because I had it towed to the closest dealership, and not the chevy dealership its at now. If you need service or help with your vehicle, don't expect to get it. They promise you the world and give you nothing in return. A two year old car and now the transmission may not be any good. The car isn't used excessivly, as I work from home but two days a week and only use it locally. Unbelievable.

Took my car in for a front end alignment paid $130 got my car back drove down the street car was all messed up still not rite so go back next day because I was busy and ask to speak to a supervisor and I was lied to guy said he was the supervisor and I told him the problem and he said his technician did the job right the first time and refuse to fix my car and started degrading me I told him I'm going to Sue and said by the looks of my clothes I couldn't afford to sue him and would not give me a refund
