They helped me when I thought that there wasn’t any for me.. I got into a chain reaction car accident. My insurance totaled my truck and didn’t tell me. I went there thinking let me just look. Anna said hello and held the door for me. Right away she went to work. Kyle came out and asked me my story. He said what can I do to help you. I hated the idea of buying online. I had several issues with dealers online and in person ranging from dishonesty about price to dishonesty about the vehicle they have online being for sale. I had zero issues with Wiers Chevy. I purchased my truck from Wiers Chevy. Joe Billy was on top of everything. I even added things I needed added on the truck and was amazed how Joe got everything done. He even updated me on progress as my bed liner and hard cover were being installed. Everything he had done was on time and done to schedule!! Thanks Joe Billy and Wiers Chevrolet!! I almost forgot I had my vehicle delivered also and that was pretty nice also!!

I purchased a new 2025 Chevrolet Silverado from Chevrolet of Merrillville on October 17, 2025, and this situation is STILL not resolved months later. I flew from Virginia to Indiana to pick the truck up and what should have been a straightforward cash purchase turned into an 8-hour ordeal at the dealership. Before traveling there, I specifically asked whether I needed a cashier’s check and was told I did not. Once I arrived, they suddenly did not want to accept my personal check and also refused to accept a business check, which is ultimately why the purchase had to be completed in my personal name instead of through my company. The problems continued after the sale. There was a major delay getting the MSO/title paperwork, which created registration issues, and I paid $2,455.35 in Indiana reciprocal sales tax at the dealership only to later end up paying Virginia sales tax again because the credit could not be properly applied. I eventually had to file a complaint with the Indiana Attorney General Consumer Protection Division. The dealership’s attorneys are now blaming the title/entity structure, despite the fact that the dealership itself refused to accept the business check that would have allowed the transaction to be completed under the business name in the first place. At this point I’ve spent months dealing with paperwork, DMV issues, tax issues, and legal correspondence over what should have been a simple truck purchase. If you are buying from out of state, especially as a business owner, I would strongly recommend getting every payment, title, tax, and registration detail in writing before making the trip.
