It is rare these days for businesses to go the extra mile to please a customer but hats off to Texana (Cecil Atkission) Toyota to going the extra 330 miles. After having a 2023 Toyota bZ4x sold out from under me by Shottenkirk Toyota in Hudson Oaks, TX, Terry Sinclair called offering to do a deal online and deliver the car from Orange to Fort Worth. After the deal was done in about an hour at 8pm on a Friday night (kudos to Muriel Brown the finance manager), there were some EV learning curve issues with the gentlemen who were driving the vehicle up Saturday and they had to turn back. The General Manager Mike Grewenig called profusely apologized and offered to have Mr. Sinclair drive the car up overnight Saturday, a $250 Amazon gift card and a second key. I didn't want anyone on the road all night for a vehicle so they shipped to vehicle Monday. Subsequently, they delivered all promises. If they have a vehicle you want, reach out to Texana Toyota and they will treat you right!!! Their customer service is off the charts!!!

My mother-in-law was in need of a new vehicle and was interested in a Toyota Camry. We went to Lake Charles Toyota to see what they had to offer. Our salesman, Wool Wooldridge, met with us, and immediately treated us like we were his mom and sister. It was raining when we arrived, so he found the car we were interested in and brought it to us to look at so we wouldn’t have to go out in the rain. The experience from there only got better. He brought us 4 different Camrys to look at, then the rain stopped and we decided to walk out on the lot with him. That’s when she spotted the car we drove home in that day, an electric blue C-HR. It just so happened this car was exactly in her budget. Buying this car was not like any other experience we have ever had. From looking at cars with Wool, to signing papers with Ricky Wilson, it was just amazing! On top of the great experience with buying the car, we also got free lifetime oil changes and inspection stickers! You just can’t beat that! We will definitely be back to Lake Charles Toyota!

Walked in on a Tuesday, Raja greeted me at the door. I told him the exact 4 Runner I wanted knowing they didn’t have it on their lot. And by that Friday I was driving out with my beautiful new 4 Runner. Easiest car buying experience I’ve had. Everyone in this dealership was super friendly.

I was looking for a 2018 Toyota CH-R in a very rare color (Radiant Mica Green). Started out in Baton Rouge, at the dealership closest to where I live. They didn't have the color I wanted, but he told me that he could get it from the closest Toyota dealer that had one (which was Hixson). So, we began to negotiate, but red flags went up when he only offered me $3500 for my trade-in (the Kelley Blue Book value when I looked it up was nearly $6000.) When I questioned him about it, he made up a bunch of excuses as to why my car wasn't really worth what KBB said. Anyway, we finally struck a deal for $19000 + my trade-in value. He went to verify it with his boss, and came back and told me, "I have great news. My manager is insane for agreeing to this, but he says you can have a CH-R for that price, but it has to be that one right there (which was sitting on their showroom floor, in a completely different color.) I told him I wasn't interested and left. As I was leaving the parking lot, I called Hixson and was connected with a salesman named Justin Brown. When I mentioned the vehicle he immediately knew which car I was talking about, and told me he'd call me right back for a bottom line "out the door" price. Sure enough, 5 minutes later he called me and offered me the car at $100 over invoice ($24817 including taxes & fees). He asked me to send my VIN # and some photos of my vehicle so that he could assess the value. He told me he could give me the $5817 for it no problem, and I could pay the rest ($19000) in cash. So, I made the 3+ hour drive to Leesville early this morning to pick it up. I met Justin, who had all of my basic paperwork ready to go. I was then introduced to John, who was in charge of all the finances and warranties and whatnot. He, too, was super-nice (despite being a Cowboys fan) and was awesome to deal with. In less than an hour after arriving at the dealership I was driving off the lot in my brand-new CH-R. I could not be happier with my purchase and the service I received. Great reception crew...Chance, Austin, Newman, and Payne. Chance took my car back and had them fix a tire. They kept me busy and before I realized it. My car was ready. There's a lot of knowledge between these guys. Professional, friendly, attentative, knowledgeable, and above all very respectful and kind to this 77 year old senior citizen. Chance is my main helper. It was a treat, and I shall return. I love my Toyota Carolla and trust Walker Toyota. Thanks
