I was looking for a used pickup. I found one on their website that I was really interested in. I researched it online filled out the paperwork to make sure I qualified before I drove 45 miles into their lot. I even called them and talked to a salesperson to make sure what I done was right and that the vehicle was there and I qualified for it. I made an appointment and drove in. The person I made the appointment with could not see me so someone else said they would help me. I gave them the information on the pickup I was interested in and told them I had already done the paperwork and showed them I was qualified. He looked it up on the computer and told me that although the truck was on the website it was not on the lot (yet). He left the office and about 20 minutes later a different salesperson showed up. He told me the other man was busy with another customer. He then proceeded to tell me I didn't qualify after all. However, if I wanted to look at a different pickup with over 50000 miles on it then one, I wanted to look at. I could get it. I told me no thank you and walked out. I really don't think that they wanted to help me because I was not the kind of customer they wanted to do business with. I would not recommend doing business with this company unless you come in with a lot of money a nice car and dressed in a suit. They will bend over backwards for someone like that but for an average citizen they cannot be bothered.

Really, please just consider going anywhere but here. I received the most disrespectful, snide, condescending, womanizing treatment from the salesman helping us, his sales manager, and the rest of the staff in general. My boyfriend, his father, and myself went in on a Friday night to look at a car for me, and we were treated fairly with a decent amount of respect. After some talk, we walked away without a deal we could agree on. Within an hour of leaving, I had an email from our salesman. The next day I negotiated on my own behalf and we eventually reached an agreement. I returned to the dealership solo, and after informing the staff that I would not be financing through them but would instead be handling my own financing directly with my credit union (as I have done with every vehicle I have ever purchased) I was met with resistance. The staff made several rude comments about how “inconventient” that is and how “it doesn’t make sense” and is “weird but do whatever you want.” I was spoken to like I am a child and like I am unintelligent/incapable of making decisions for myself. I was able to shake it off because I *thought* I was getting a good deal on a car I have wanted for a very long time. I went in to meet with an agent at the credit union I use, and our numbers for the total cost came up identical to each other’s per the information laid out in a purchase agreement, but different than the dealership’s bottom line on said agreement. I’ll spare the boring details, but among other things during a call about the discrepancy in price, the salesman told me this is “basic math, I don’t know what you don’t understand” and he laughed at me while stating “I’m really trying to remain professional here.” The call happened to be on speaker phone, and the bystanders who were in earshot had shock and disbelief painted all over their faces at his comments. I have never been made to feel like a joke in my life until that point. It goes without saying I backed out of the deal immediately and will happily take my money elsewhere. It should be noted, I emailed a manager regarding this situation. I received an “I’m sorry, we don’t usually conduct business that way” response that is pretty useless. My boyfriend, however, received calls almost immediately from different managers trying to apologize. Considering that it was never my boyfriend’s deal, the car was for me, I was the sole negotiating party, and I was the sole party responsible for the financing, this strikes me as odd. I hate to accuse any individual or business of sexism, but this sure feels a lot like unfair treatment due to the fact that I’m a young woman. Last I checked, my money is just as green as anyone else’s.

WARNING!!! Had a fuel injector return line go bad on my 2019 F-350 when returning to Lubbock. I googled Ford Dealerships near me and found Mainer Ford of Bristow. I called them to see if they could fix the problem and they said yes, they have Ford Authorized Mechanics. They replaced the high pressure line and when I asked them to check if this was covered under warranty, they said "no, Ford does not cover hoses." I then paid them almost $1100 and drove home. Less than 3 months later, the line blows near San Angelo Texas. Jim Bass Ford replaced the line for no charge under my powertrain warranty. I called Mainer and was advised that quote "we are not an authorized Ford dealership. We can't perform Ford warranty work." They misrepresented themselves, as they are still doing on this page, as Mainer Ford of Bristow. So they took my $1100 and couldn't even fix it to last 3 months. Thanks for the lies and sub-standard work. I am glad I had the rework done by an honest AUTHORIZED Ford shop in Texas this time.
