Overall, not impressed with Herb Chambers of Seekonk. We traded in our lease and financed what we thought was a “Certified Used Car”. The car we were interested in buying was on their lot. We decided to purchase the car from Herb Chambers of Seekonk rather than drive up to Herb Chambers of Norwood or Westborough. We figured Herb Chambers of Seekonk was a reputable dealership with knowledgeable staff. Since we have a lease from Herb Chambers Alfa Romeo of Warwick, with no issues at all with their dealership. Day of pick up registration was in the wrong name, we were told it would take days to correct the registration. The tank was not filled with gas, which we were surprised that courtesy was not done. Our sales advisor states “well you gave us your car with a quarter of a tank of gas” The next day the car leaked windshield fluid all over the driveway. The windshield reservoir needs to be replaced. The vehicle vibrates when accelerating on the highway. Vehicle history report states service work was completed. The warranty history has no indication of additional repair to the axel being completed. A recall that was issued in May of 2023 was never completed. The day we test drove the vehicle, our sales advisor informed us the Car Fax is clean (we saw the report), no issues reported at all. The car was just delivered to them. I requested a copy of the vehicle service history report, finally received with service dates from June 27, 2023-September 26, 2023. Thankfully we purchased a 5 year warranty to cover unexpected repairs. We definitely were misinformed that the car had no issues. Now we are inconvenienced having to do all the repairs, recalls that Herb Chambers did not take care of. Extremely disappointing experience at Herb Chambers of Seekonk. I have reached out to the Management Dept. about the issues, promise of return phone calls didn’t happen until I posted a negative review. Once our lease is up with Herb Chambers Alfa Romeo in Warwick, that vehicle will be returned. In writing this review, I wish we had taken the 1 drive to Norwood we may have had a totally different outcome. More
