This time, I purchased a newer, used MDX with a premium warranty. My first oil change was performed at an east side Acura dealership where it had always been taken by the previous owner although I live in warranty. My first oil change was performed at an east side Acura dealership where it had always been taken by the previous owner although I live in Surprise, Az. A couple days later, an urgent “maintenance pop up” showed on the screen requiring immediate attention! My email to the east side advisor was not addressed properly as I needed to know if I was able to drive the 40+ miles, was it safe or did my MDX require a tow. Not being answered put me in contact with, Brian Appleton. He assured me it was safe to drive to the Peoria location where he offered me a loaner vehicle while they took a look at my car. Brian, called me the next morning about the “urgent message” and the other things my MDX needed also stated by the east side dealer. Because it required additional time and a visit from the warranty company rep to verify services needed, I went and picked up the loaner vehicle that was offered the first time. Brian, was extremely patient with my many questions and explained everything thoroughly. Besides being much closer, I’ve never been more happy to have been “ignored”! Not only did he save me money with the warranty coverage but he made sure the items not covered were at a lower price than the east side dealership! Brian was easy going & friendly, felt like an “old friend” you’ve had forever. I refuse to take my MDX anywhere else! More
