Both Koons Chevrolet & Tom Howard, my service writer/liason, have performed admirably in providing professional proficiency insofar as the work being done, amicable & patient audience in listenin writer/liason, have performed admirably in providing professional proficiency insofar as the work being done, amicable & patient audience in listening to (& understanding) my concerns and accomodating my non-willingness as a person-to-person, Digital Dinosaur 🦕 by choice, keep-the-encroaching-technocracy-at-bay type of character --- by keeping me informed of the process & process along the way using phones & direct verbal discourse. They have helped with providing transport to & from nearby places for all day jobs instead of waiting on the premises, getting a "loaner" or rental car for longer than a day(s) jobs and dutifully kept me informed of any problems or reliefs that altered the ETA. Lastly, though the prices for parts & labor have risen alarmingly through the years, they have helped me prioritize which routes & options could be taken to lessen the blow, yet provide assured confidence in the drivability of the vehicle within the scope of my own parametric needs along the way. Note: by the term "they" I am referring primarily to the relationship with Tom as my liason with both the Corporate entity of Koons Chevrolet AND all of the mechanics, operators and staff involved. Not too pleased with the AI system initiated at Koons Service Dept. Prefer talking to a human on the phone. Was not sure the AI understood what it was I was requesting and for which of the 2 Chevies I r Service Dept. Prefer talking to a human on the phone. Was not sure the AI understood what it was I was requesting and for which of the 2 Chevies I regularly have serviced at Koons. When notified by text that work was completed ; payment was requested by the phone. That endeavor failed and ended up paying at service desk anyway. A task undertaken by Brian Hastman, my service advisor who did so with poise and aplomb. There was no 13 pt. inspection result provided either. A small matter maybe ; but it was missed and I would refer to it when it came time for the next service interval. More
