I started working at Klaben when I was 16 years old, answering phones and filing paperwork. Throughout my high school and college years, I took on various roles at the dealership which helped to expand my knowledge and understanding of the business. I started working in the Finance Department at the age of 23, while completing my MBA at the University of Akron. I had a strong curiosity and interest in Finance, mostly because of my love for working with people and numbers. I worked as a Finance Manager for 19 years, and transitioned to the role of Sales Manager in August 2021. I am proud to work for a company that grounds itself in customer loyalty and satisfaction and have enjoyed the relationships I have built with several of my customers over the years.

Best dealer experience in a long time! I won't get into great detail but lets just say that I ended up at Klaben Ford because I was fed up with other local Ford dealers I had been going to. My brother in law has been trying to get me to go to Klaben for years and now I finally had a reason. He also suggested that I ask for Doug Carter as he had been dealing with him for years and says he is the best in the business! I was skeptical. But from the first point of contact with Doug to the last I was really quite amazed. This is finally the kind of salesman I was looking for. Knowledgeable, personable, sincere and easy to deal with. Doug got me the truck I was looking for and the communication throughout the process was spot on. When it came time to take delivery of my new truck, Doug made it very easy and stress free. He introduced me to Christine Klaben who did all the paperwork with me. Christine was also great to deal with and again, stress free. Later that day I had some questions about my truck and I thought I was missing some options I thought I had. I called Doug on his cell and was ready to freak out on him. Doug was a trooper and did all he could to look into my concerns right then and there. It was 6:00 when I had called and Doug was already half out the door. Without hesitation or complaining he booted his computer back up to get some info for me. Turns out I was just not using the feature correctly and the other concern was due to Ford no longer offering that option. So I may have stressed poor Doug out for nothing but he got on top of it even though he had already signed off for the day. I was truly impressed and even felt bad to put him through that. I have not used their service department yet so time will tell if Klaben is my go to for that, but as far as buying a car or truck I highly highly recommend Klaben and Doug Carter. More

I was blown away that the salesman, Tom Nicodemus, who allowed me to test drive a truck pulling my horse trailer. I am a difficult customer and Tom was extremely patient with me and he thoroughly explained all details, probably more than once. I am telling all my friends about Tom and the customer service I received at Klaben! (p.s. I learned of Klaben through Jerry - the Car Care Guy) More

Fast and efficient I hate spending all day at a dealership! His plan was perfect saved us a bunch of money and found us a new Escape and the payment was lower! I have said this before there is no other Ford dealership out to us. 20 years and counting and every time it’s a great experience. When you come in you are family not just another customer. I don’t want to forget to mention ty Davis answered questions also, and mike Brandvold from service he took time out of his crazy day to answer a few things about the 4x4 system. Mr Klaben and Mr Colbert are also A number 1! In finance Christine Klaben always has everything ready and knows exactly what you need. More

I got to the service center and Kyle checked me in, to my surprise the waiting area had everything I lacked... phone and internet.. my day went from bad to better.
