Purchased a used Hyundai from Luther Kia in Bloomington from salesman Anel Sejdic. Anel made several statements about said vehicle that were completely wrong or untrue. When confronted with any of this there were excuses such as suggesting it was someone else's fault as that's what he was apparently told or out and out blatant lies. I got a very overpriced vehicle that from what I can tell had no actual safety check as equipment that was said to be functional wasn't. Anel waited until all paperwork was signed to actually disclose that there was only one key fob for the vehicle, with no offer to produce a replacement. Used car buyer Brandon Schliinz offered a mediocre trade value for my old vehicle, but only after I began to walk from the "deal." This guy is no one worth spending time around. Manager David Burns did help make up for some of this deals shortcomings, mainly by sending me to Luther's Hyundai dealership just down the street. Many of the sales "professionals" I had the pleasure of dealing with seemed to be your "meathead" or "dumb jock" types who's sports career had run its course and were now attempting to keep some reign of dignity by pawning off tinny Jap-Crap-wannabe garbage on an unsuspecting public. I guess this is why so many car dealers have such a bad reputation. Although my Hyundai still had factory warranty and obligated service such as free oil changes and tire rotations, I received an email from some clown named Dan Dingmann who wanted me to come back to their dealership for my first oil change on them. Yeah, right, like I'd enjoy hanging around there for an hour or two while waiting for work to be done. I'm sure not everyone has found this seller to be so bad, but would suggest there are certainly better auto manufacturers out there and are definitely better dealerships one can purchase a vehicle from. I'm wishing I had just walked from the transaction or returned the car within their 5 - day trial period. Don't waste your time with these bozos as they really don't have anything all that special to offer, and are almost worthless once you've progressed through a deal any further than a test drive. There are several better options just across the street or within a block or two. I'm wishing I hadn't let these dolts have my money or waste so much of my time. More

My wife and I had a good experience with Luther Kia. No pressure sales folks there, which made the process alot better. We worked with Rich to find the right car and he was great. We did however have an issue with the car when we noticed a leak the first night. We informed Kia and they took the car back to inspect and gave us a loaner which was great. The only downfall was their inaccurate timeline they gave us for repair. After explaining the inaccurate timline to the regional manager Dan, he acted quickly to resolve the issue and on top of that, thew in a new set if tires for the 5 day inconvenience. It was over all a good car buying experience. More

My wife and I bought a used CRV from Luther Kia of Bloomington in November 2024. All of the staff we worked with the day we bought it were pleasant and there was no pressure. Unfortunately, our experience after that day has not gone well. On the way home from the dealership we noticed a howling noise at highway speeds that we didn’t notice during the test drive. We took the vehicle to our mechanic the following day and learned there was a wheel bearing that needed replacing and the U-joints were in poor condition, so the drive shaft also needed replacing. We called the dealership that same day to tell them what was found and to see what could be done. We spoke to the Used Car Sales Manager who blamed us for not noticing the issue during the test drive. One of his comments was, “What did you expect, you bought a car with 100k miles on it.” What we had expected was better customer service and the dealership to stand by their service and inspection of the vehicle prior to sale. Had we known we would need to invest $2000 of repairs into the car immediately after purchase, we would have looked at something else. The used car manager said we could bring the car back to the dealership to be looked at but they wouldn't fix anything they didn’t deem to be a safety issue. Since there was no guarantee we would get anything from the dealership if we brought it there, we had mechanic do the repairs instead. We then reached out to the general manager of the dealership expressing our disappointment with the used car manager and asked what could be done to resolve our issue. After some back and forth and his review of the invoice from our mechanic, he agreed to meet us halfway on the repair costs and said they would be sending us a check. That was in mid-December. It is now March and we still haven’t received any reimbursement. We have reached out to the general manager multiple times and he is not responding. This has been a poor experience that could have been handled so much better. We will not be buying from Luther again. More

I really enjoyed working with both Preston Simpson and Jeremy Archibald at this location. Preston was endlessly patient, both during the leasing process, and after I had to come back TWICE to get things I Jeremy Archibald at this location.
