I have over forty years of service here at Smythe Volvo. The complete level of comfort in knowing all the employees and customers very well is definitely the best part about working here. My favorite Volvo is the Cross Country Wagon. It's an AWD utility vehicle but still more like a car than a truck. It also has a good track record mechanically, performs and handles well. When I'm away from work, spending time with my family is my number one priority, especially with my two grandsons.

Doug MacAdam was very attentive when I was describing the symptoms of the engine malfunction. He offered several possible areas where the coolant might be leaking and examined the photo I took and showed me symptoms of the engine malfunction. He offered several possible areas where the coolant might be leaking and examined the photo I took and showed me what parts needed to be removed to remedy the problem. Once the front of the engine had been disassembled, he examined the cam seals, timing belt. water pump and explained what needed replacement and what parts remained serviceable. I purchased this Volvo from Smythe 22 years and 90,500 miles ago. I recall Doug was my service advisor back then and he was just as interested in providing excellent service to the "old" car today as he did when my car was new. If Doug wasn't a Service Advisor, his diagnostic skills would have made a great doctor. This is the type of colleague that keeps Volvo owners returning to Smythe. More

I have been an extremely happy and satisfied customer of Smythe Volvo for more than 30 years - they are the absolute best. You know they are doing something right when their employees never leave, they star Smythe Volvo for more than 30 years - they are the absolute best. You know they are doing something right when their employees never leave, they start and end their careers at Smythe. I do not believe that they can say “no” to a customer - they go above and beyond to make sure each and every customer experience is positive. As a family owned and operated dealership, they build strong customer relationships which is why Smythe has the reputation of being extremely honest. I know that when I bring my car in for service, the advisor will only recommend repairs/replacements that are necessary and best for the car and will never upsell or recommend needless repairs. More
