I don’t even know where to begin with how unacceptable this experience has been. We own a 2024 Chevy Trax with under 18,000 miles. A vehicle that is not even two years old. We brought it into Lester Glenn Chevy for something as routine and simple as a tire rotation and balance. That’s it. No existing issues. After picking it up, it began violently shaking when braking. We explained—very clearly—that this issue did not exist prior to their service. Suddenly, we’re told the rotors are “warped from excessive braking.” Excessive braking… on a car that was perfectly fine before it entered your service department? So let’s be honest here: if that diagnosis is even accurate, then the only logical conclusion is that something happened while the car was in your possession for those hours. Because it certainly didn’t develop overnight sitting in a driveway. When we raised the possibility that a technician may have test-driven the vehicle and braked aggressively, the manager, John, was quick to dismiss it as “unlikely.” Not impossible… just “unlikely.” And that response alone speaks volumes. What’s actually “unlikely” is a low-mileage, well-maintained vehicle magically developing warped rotors immediately after a basic tire service. At best, this is negligence. At worst, it’s a refusal to take accountability. Either way, something clearly went wrong while our car was in the dealership’s care, and instead of investigating it thoroughly or standing behind your work, we were met with defensiveness and dismissal. This is exactly the kind of experience that makes people lose trust in dealership service departments. We brought it in for a rotation & balance and left with our car in a condition it wasn’t in when it was dropped off. The funniest part: we were discussing last week that we were going to buy a second Trax. Not anymore. **If they spent more time actually listening to their customers instead of scurrying around the internet replying to negative reviews, maybe they’d… have better reviews. 🤣 More

I reached out and was connected with Drew, who was excellent from the very first phone call. He listened carefully to what I wanted, answered my questions, and—most importantly—was never pushy. In fact, I had to call him back to finalize everything. After completing most of the paperwork electronically, my buddy and I drove four hours to pick up the vehicles. When we arrived, everything was ready to go. Both vehicles were clean, detailed, and Drew took the time to walk us through all the bells and whistles. During the final OnStar call, I noticed something wasn’t right with the climate control. After some confusion, I realized the A/C wasn’t working. Both vehicles were brand new with only about 10 miles on them, and at this point the Tahoe was already paid for and plated—so technically, this was now my problem. I went back to Drew and explained what was going on. He looked at me like I was crazy—in the best way—then immediately jumped in the vehicle and drove it straight into the service department himself. No hesitation. While they were diagnosing the issue, I waited a few hours and was offered a loaner car and lunch on them. Then Drew called me with the news: my brand-new $97,000 Tahoe needed an A/C compressor. That was a tough call to get—but Drew and Matt immediately apologized and assured me they would take care of everything. And this is where Lester Glenn truly earned my respect, my review, and my future business. They quickly plated my trade-in vehicle and told me they would have Ryan drive my Tahoe—fully repaired—back to me within two days. I’ll admit, I was skeptical. But 48 hours later, my vehicle arrived exactly as promised, fully repaired, and working perfectly. Lester Glenn didn’t cause the A/C issue. What they did do was drop everything to make sure I was taken care of. I honestly can’t think of anything more they could have done. I’m extremely grateful for the effort, professionalism, and integrity shown by everyone at Lester Glenn Chevrolet—especially Drew and Matt. This is how dealerships should operate. More
