Kenny Jones is the kind of salesman I like. He sold me my last car with zero run around and that’s why I gladly used him for my recent purchase. He met my wife and I at the door and recognized me from a year ago. My wife showed him the car online she was interested in and coincidentally, it was parked right next to us. We went for a test drive with no “upsell” and decided we wanted it. Unfortunately the managers were out for the day so he loaned us the car overnight to finalize the deal the next morning. Next morning, all the paper work was ready and Justice Goodner made it painless and efficient to get the car out the door. All in all, I spent about 2 hours over the two visits at the dealership. Went to Toyota of Cleveland to test drive a Tundra Hybrid that I have been looking at for some time. At 7pm, I met with Kenny Jones in the rain at the front door. He was great from the start. Kenny has a great personality and does not pressure you into anything. After returning, I answered a few simple questions as to what I was thinking of doing and I felt so comfortable with him that I told him I wanted to move forward and see if we could make the purchase happen. My wife and I had a great experience with Kenny from the beginning to the end. Kenny introduced me to Tyler Rutledge, Sales Manager. He checked out my trade, made a solid offer that I was looking for without having to debate. Kenny, Tyler and I sat down and discussed the numbers and came to a very quick agreement. This experience of agreeing to the price for the trade and purchase of the Tundra Hybrid was the absolutely best experience I have ever had in my 62 years. Absolutely no pressure, no hassle, no disrespect. After completing the paperwork for my purchase, we met with Crystal Thompson in finance. Crystal picked up where Kenny and Tyler left off with absolutely the best customer service while getting into the financing paperwork. She went on to explain warranty options, and then getting all of the paperwork completed. It may not mean much to some, but I had the one request to transfer my Submarine Veteran tag from my Jeep to the Tundra, since we recently moved to the area and did not want to have to through the hassle of getting a new one. Crystal made it happen for me. It is the little things that mean so much. To sum my experience with Toyota of Cleveland, I had absolutely the best experience! Kenny did everything I asked of him, and went above and beyond to ensure I was pleased with my purchase. He also did a thorough walk through regarding the features of my Tundra at time of delivery. As for Tyler Ratledge, he was very polite and down right a friend. I came away with the feeling he treated me fairly and respectfully. My experience with Crystal Thompson was nothing short of awesome also. She was very thorough and very friendly. By the time we ended the sale, it was after 10pm and we were apologizing to all three for keeping them away from the families after closing time. These folks were away from the families because it was raining so hard and major parts of Chattanooga were flooding. These folk’s families were being affected by the rain, but stayed with us to complete the sale. We were the last couple at the dealership, said we would come back the next day, but after making calls the their respective families to check up on them, they stayed the course to finish the sale. I can’t think of better dedication to a customer than this experience. All I can say is, if you are looking for a new vehicle please go to Toyota of Cleveland and see these folks. They are the best!!! More
