When you ask Kevin Cappelli about his job, he’s quick to tell you that fixing cars is only part of what he does every day. The rest of the time, his goal is to make sure his customers are happy. “That’s the important part,” he says. Cappelli, service advisor in the Don Ayres Pontiac GMC service department, knows it’s frustrating to be without a car. That’s why he and his fellow employees do everything they can to minimize inconvenience to customers. For starters, they make repairs as quickly as they can. They also help arrange alternate transportation via the Don Ayres courtesy shuttle or a rental car. The ultimate goal: to make things as easy as possible for those facing unexpected or untimely repairs. When he’s not at work, Cappelli says he likes to spend time with his wife and play golf. He has worked full time at Don Ayres for four years but began working at the company part time in 1999. “It’s an excellent place to work,” he says.

I go back to my first Pontiac Ventura Don Ayres himself sold me in 1972. Had great service with Doug Settle then and still today. The Mechanics Jimmy and Dave are still there and that says something. When my Daughter was ready to buy he first car I called Dons Daughter Sara and she got us taken care of with her 2011 Accord( which she still drives) and We also purchased our 2013 CRV which we still are driving. Pete Ort has been my adviser for some time at the dealership in FW. I have complete trust in his guidance for servicing my cars ( we own 2 Hondas ). Pete has a deeper knowledge of operation of the dealership in FW. I have complete trust in his guidance for servicing my cars ( we own 2 Hondas ). Pete has a deeper knowledge of operation of the modern computer controlled systems in the vehicles since he was a mechanic himself and does most of his own service work on his cars. This equates to a Service Adviser who can explain how the battery / charging system works or why it is important to have fuel injector service at the recommended interval. This ability to explain why we need certain service is a great asset for the customer......Plus he is upbeat and positive to work with.....5 stars for Pete ! More
