Went for a simple oil change and NYS inspection and was told it would be 90 minutes. Agreed to a "30,000 mile mainteance package". There were no issues with the vechle as seen in the health reports. Four hours later (so 2 1/2 hours longer than committted) was handed a $1,261 bill of which $780+ was in labor fees. When I questioned the expense I was rudely responded to. I checked my manual which clearly stated there is no suggested 30,000 mile maintenance that tied to what was performed. More

I was there for a NYS Inspection (free because I had purchased the car there) which happens to be registered in my husband’s name. I had made the appt weeks in advance, but when I showed up was told th purchased the car there) which happens to be registered in my husband’s name. I had made the appt weeks in advance, but when I showed up was told that the “machine” was down, and I would have to come back the next day. I returned for the second appointment, gave Lauren my name (and noted that it was not the surname in the database) and phone number, and reminded her that I would be waiting in the assigned area. Two hours later, I was still there. Then my husband checked HIS text messages (he was home, 20 miles away), and there was one from the dealership which he then forwarded to me. As is typically the case, there were recommended repairs totaling hundreds of dollars which I declined, but the car had passed inspection. I went to Lauren and complained why I had not been found in the waiting area or at least communicated with. She gave me “attitude” and said she would have the car brought around. I went back to the waiting area, waited another 10 minutes … still no car. I went to her desk and said I would wait there for my car. She went to the repair area to find my car, and after another wait, my car was finally brought around and she gave me the paperwork showing a passed inspection. More
