My wife and I have been married for 26 years and have two sons Mark and Grant. We have a dog Paisley( my wife named after a country singer she likes). We are Bradley and University of Illinois fans even with our youngest son going to the University of Iowa.

Wonderful Buying Experience Fred Graham met us immediately with keys to the car we had called about for a test drive. He was fun, knowledgeable, and made us feel right at home. He recommended a 2nd car based on our feedback, which we ended up buying. He stayed in touch the entire time to make sure we were all on the same page with likes/dislikes and what would suit our needs. Mike Murphy happened to come by at one point and stopped to introduce himself and ask if we needed anything. The guy in the business office, Mike Allison, was just as friendly and helpful, making sure we understood everything and moved along efficiently. We are happy with our buying experience and my husband can't wait until it's time to go back to buy his truck! More

Excellent Car Buying Experience Couldn’t ask for a better car buying experience. I travelled from out of town and it was well worth the trip. The car was priced very fairly and they were willing to work with me on my trade-in. My salesman Kevin was a total pro and went above and beyond to help get me in my new Ford Explorer. He spent a half hour after the sale was made making sure I was familiar with all the car’s features. I was greeted by both the owner and the dealership manager during my visit and I genuinely felt like they cared about their customers and doing business the right way. Five stars isn’t enough. I will strongly consider making the 2.5 hour drive again next time I have to purchase a vehicle. More

He met me where I wanted to be for a trade-in and beat other dealership prices for the truck we were interested in. We made the trip, and he was right on the money for expected payments with no hidden fees and no waste of time. Everyone at Mike Murphy Ford was great about us having our children with us, and gave them packets for coloring and puzzles. Todd in finance expedited the process, and he explained everything in an efficient, no-nonsense way. Mike Murphy took the time to shake our hand and thank us for choosing the dealership. We both drove home saying that was one of the best experiences we've had. More

Buying experience Overall i would give the dealership a good review. Only issue i had was the fact that the car was a Ford buyback. (lemon law). My issue was that the Carfax did not reflect what the problem was. Carfax noted it seemed to be a software or electrical problem but during the negotiating, paperwork was produced that noted the buyback was for an engine problem. I should have walked then, due to not divulging the real problem on the Carfax To me, the dealership should have divulged this information from the beginning and the engine problem should have been noted on the Carfax. Purchased the car, but am having second thoughts, hoping the problem was fixed. More

Terrible Bought a car a little over a year ago from dealership. Everything was going great for about a year. I loved the car and it had no issues at all. It wa Bought a car a little over a year ago from dealership. Everything was going great for about a year. I loved the car and it had no issues at all. It was a Fusion Energi and it caught fire in my driveway. Was towed immediately to the dealership where it sat for four months. A engineer came out and looked at car and determined fire was caused by control module in the lithium ion battery in trunk. Ford said they would warranty the car. It had 22k worth of damage and could not be fixed. So we waited and played this game with Ford for a few months while continuing to make payments to the car. Ford then came back with a offer that they said they would give me a full reimbursement for the car like the day I bought it. I was satisfied with this offer. We waited another 45 days and finally got the settlement papers for this car. Ford came back with a offer that is so ridiculous. They weren't even going to give me trade in value for my car. They said it depreciated with the miles I put on car. I then was forced to turn this car into my insurance and let them deal with it. They gave me a much better offer. I also bought gap insurance through dealership because I thought I was being smart about it and found out that they charge $800 for it and my bank charges $300 for the same coverage. This is a complete rip-off. I am so frustrated to this day about this issue. I don't see how they can just get away with this and everything should be good. IT WAS FORDS AUTO PART FAULT THAT CAUSED THIS. If it wasn't for that I would still be driving it and not a piece of crap car. More
