Everything went well until the financing, sales man confirmed that they couldn't beat my current pre approval APR I made it very clear to not run my credit since their best offer was 2% over and I wa confirmed that they couldn't beat my current pre approval APR I made it very clear to not run my credit since their best offer was 2% over and I wasnt interested but he kept insisting that my credit wouldn't be ran on multiple occasions but I still had to fill credit paperwork in order to complete the sale Well surprise.. 2 minutes later I receive a bank application notification mentioning a hard pull on my credit as to which the sales man said: "I didn't run your credit, the bank did" They were very helpful and Im sure they were just trying to make a few extra dollars but in my case they decided to not listen to my only request on not running my credit This directly impacted my house purchasing pending loan, delaying it for at least 6 months More
