Poor customer service I purchased a used vehicle in cash on 12/31/18. They didn't have the Title and thus, I couldn't get a car inspection. By law, you have 7 days to dri I purchased a used vehicle in cash on 12/31/18. They didn't have the Title and thus, I couldn't get a car inspection. By law, you have 7 days to drive a newly purchased vehicle without an inspection sticker during which time I was told they would procure the Title. After 7 days, I did not receive any update, so I called my sales rep to find out what was going on. I was told I would receive a call back, but never heard back. I called again (after driving the car "illegally" for 4 days) to find out what was happening and to remind them I was driving the car outside of the legally allotted window. Again, I was told I'd get a call back immediately with an update, but never received a call. I'm a bit shocked that Herb Chambers would put their customers in such a precarious situation, especially since I was clear when I purchased the car that I was upgrading specifically to accommodate more kids for car pooling. Apparently, Herb Chambers doesn't care if I'm pulled over with 7 kids in the car and the resulting embarrassment of having to tell the Coach why they were all late for the competition! More
