We had not had any problems in the first three weeks of owning this truck. I took the truck in oct 6th for this thunking sound and it turned out to be a bolt had sheared off in the torque converter messing up the torque converter, the starter and flex plate. After taking two and a half weeks to replace that I received the truck back Thursday night Oct 22, in the process of driving it home it would not shift from 2nd to 3rd without revving the motor up to red line. Thinking this was a fluke I took it home and drove it late Friday night where it would not shift correctly once again. So I took the truck back on Monday morning Oct 26th. After a total of 23 days at the dealership the truck is still not up and running yet. The service department instead of getting the truck parts shipped each time (after replacing the different parts all the time) in a timely manner they just ground ship everything so it sits for 3-4 days waiting for a different part. Now the service manager has lied to us on the history of the truck and what has happened to it to say the vehicle has had nothing but problems in the past and that is why the truck went to auction. Well we know this is untrue as we have contacted the previous dealership and talked to the service techs that have serviced this truck in the past and have a copy of all the service records on the truck. We also know the previous owner traded this truck to the dealership we purchased this truck from for a newer model (they did not purchase this from an auction). The truck did not have a shifting problem before they worked on it and they are dragging this out for as long as they can make it. We weren't offered a rental car as our warranty states we are eligible for one until we insisted on it for a trip we needed to make. There is no end in site and I am at my wits end I hope that someone reads this and thinks twice about letting this dealership work on a vehicle they need to have serviced if you haven't purchased it from them. It is too bad we don't have a reliable dealership for Dodge Trucks here in Elko, Nevada.

When the rep came over he found the engine cooling fans defective, wheels out of balance, rattles thru-out the car, the driver’s side window leaked air, the air conditioner compressor was bad and more. NOW that was on a BRAND NEW $300,00 Aston Martin DBS
Then my NEW 2009 Aston Martin V8 Vantage had door opening problems, Mirror Problems, rattles everywhere, alarm problems and many other problems. Remember this is a BRAND NEW 2009 V8 Vantage loaded with issues when I got the car NEW!!
So I can’t the Sales Manager for After Market sales in the USA for Aston Martin Mr. Gary Hyman. HE came to my home which was very nice but since I had just spent $ 500,000 on two cars that had many issues I think it was the least they could do. During our visit ME Hyman agreed that almost every issues I had was real and needed to be fixed.
Mr. Hyman said they would sent a truck to pick up my DBS first then when they returned the DBS fixed they would pick up the Vantage fix it and return the car to me ( Mr Hyman’s email to me)
Email from Gary Hyman after they picked the car up and sent it to Las Vegas 8 hours away from me, if I had to go pick it up they should have sent the car to Calif. Just a 3 hour drive from me. Mr. Hyman now states sorry we changed our mind you come get the car breaking the legal contract we had , DO NOT TRUST ASTOM MARTIN AND HERE IS PROOF.
