Latest Ohio Volkswagen Dealer Reviews

Mike Elsass (sales rep.)was truly a delight to work with. He made the deal smooth, fair, and FAST! I am used to spending hours at a dealership "haggling", but we spent the most time on the test drive! He went over the car options and features thoroughly, but Mike never once talked down to me or assumed that I didn't know about cars. Being female, I really appreciate that! The car I was after (Jetta sportwagon TDI) is in high demand and I still feel like I got a fair trade. I would highly recommend working with Fairfield VW and Mike Elsass.

A 100,000 mile service, a rear brake issue, a broken exhaust clamp. The most annoying issue to date has been installing a replacement engine spash pan that wasnt installed correctly on a previous visit. This came off on the highway at 70 mph. After a day and a half I get the car back. Cars all done right? check... Bill paid? check...driving home notice the bag of parts I salvaged from the engine spash pan coming off still sitting in the center console. How nice thet didn't charge me for the new hardware... Yes that actually went through my mind for a second. I pulled into a gas stationed and hoped not to find what I was now thinking. You guessed it, no pan under the engine. Looking in the trunk the pan was still in its wrapper. So I make a call and get all sorts of excuses. I sit and ponder this as I look over the receipt I was given. Where is the rest of the detailed service work. Another call and more excuses as to why this wasn't completed. they take the car back keep it almost all day. get it back again with promises and excuses. Still not fixed! found pieces hanging loose under the car because it was incorrectly installed. The service manager was no help. All his spin does nothing to ensure the car gets fixed. Do I dare let them try again? I am forced to doubt any work this dealership has done to the car over the last two years they have serviced it.
