Hi! I am Chris Zimmerman Parts & Service Director. It was not documented to NOT perform a car wash on the repair order. Matter of fact it was on the repair order that you authorized. We would have followed your directions as we do not expect clients with black vehicles to be run through our car wash which has cloth brushes which do not cause swirl marks / scratches. We do not question client if they ok car washes on dark colors, cause it their choice. If our car wash does cause any problems, they are NO deeper than what a buffer/waxing can fix. There were 3 marks that were shown to Service Consultant Matt, to which 2 of 3 were able to be buffed out. The 3rd was on the passenger side mirror assembly that was too deep to buff out. Note: if a car wash causes swirl marks or scratches usually it's over the entire car, not 3 specific spots. We did perform a thorough buffing/waxing for all areas affected. We were able to get the swirl /scratches that were possibly made by our cloth car wash that you agreed where removed to your satisfaction. We did make an attempt to make this right. I would strongly suggest not using any car wash that isn't touchless.

Thank you for sharing. I am sorry that this visit was a disappointing. This is ABSOLUTELY NOT THE NORMAL. The day you came in for service was very challenging for our clients as well as our service department. Our car wash, tire pressure machine, & washer fluid dispenser, among other systems - ALL works off our air compressor which had failed late Friday evening(to which we tried everything we do to fix here on site - Air compressor company was able to fix that Monday afternoon as they are closed on weekends). We did not have any washer fluid bottles at that time as we had ordered from parts store which did not deliver till later that morning as we normally keep close to 50 gallons of washer fluid at all times. If you still need washer fluid, tire pressure, & a car wash, I would be happy to accommodate you at any time during business hours Monday - Saturday.
