For many years the DeNooyer Family has been servicing generations of customers with all of their automotive needs. Starting in 1943 with my grandfather, Jerry, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, the DeNooyer Family strives for customer satisfaction by treating every customer sincerely and fairly. Employees' morale plays a large part in this process. Our business was founded on honesty and integrity and we extend that to our employees as well as our customers. Some of our sales employees have been with us for over 25 years, learning more about the industry, community, and our customers' needs every day. Our service and body shop technicians and parts personnel are no different. Over the past 35 years, our technicians have serviced hundreds of thousands of vehicles. We have some technicians that have been with us for almost 30 years. They know some customers' vehicles better than their own. Working on your vehicle to them is like working on their own. Safety comes first! They pride themselves on making sure the job is done right the first time. It is because of this, that generations of customers send their vehicles to DeNooyer Chevrolet for all of their servicing needs.
My responsibility at the dealership is to make sure my family traditions hold true. Nothing is more important to me and my "family" than knowing that everyone that walks into DeNooyer Chevrolet has left 100% satisfied 100% of the time. I accept this challenge and hope that I am as successful in doing so as my father and grandfather were. We worked with Frank in Sales who was competent and helpful. He helped us find a truck that met our needs and at a price point that we were comfortable with. Lou in the Finance department was very frie helpful. He helped us find a truck that met our needs and at a price point that we were comfortable with. Lou in the Finance department was very friendly and easy to work with as well. We did have some hiccups along the way that were frustrating and had us reconsidering our purchase. The dealership lost one the keys to our trade in; we were lucky that it was the spare set. Next, when we went to fill out the paperwork, our zip code was wrong on the majority of the forms. Therefore, we had to wait for the forms to be reprinted with the correct information. Lastly, the truck we purchased had previously been owned by a smoker and we were assured that the smoke smell would be gone by the time we picked it up, it was not and the truck had not been properly cleaned either. Hence, we were not able to bring the truck home the day we planned on since they had to clean and "bomb" the truck to get the smell out. We were given a courtesy vehicle to take home while this happened. However, we were not happy about the situation, extremely frustrated, and even reconsidered our purchase. Joe and Heath, on the delivery team, saved this sale for us, especially Joe. He worked with us to resolve the issues we faced and made sure that we were compensated for the frustration and inconvenience that we went through. Joe even called us the morning of our second appointment to pick up the truck to assure us that the truck was clean and smoke free. When we picked up the truck the smell was gone and it was cleaned. We would give Joe an A++ for the effort he put in and how he helped resolve the issues. Overall, we are happy with the purchase, but we would have preferred not to have encountered all the frustrations along the way. We would recommend DeNooyer Chevrolet with caution due to the problems we faced. More
