Everyone was accommodating...would have given it a higher rating if the appointment I made with my sales person was honored as expected. Starting with the good news about our recent Genesis purchase, we love the vehicle including all of the many bells and whistles. We get compliments all the time on how beautiful the car looks; however, purchase, we love the vehicle including all of the many bells and whistles. We get compliments all the time on how beautiful the car looks; however, we had a major customer service issue with Graham Watson, the general manager. He cheated us out of our negotiated deal and changed the agreed upon price by fooling us and then blatantly ignoring us. He even stated that he is “too busy” to respond to our many phone calls, voice mails, emails, and other communications asking him to discuss the matter. There are many people working at Hyundai/Genesis of Orland Park located in Tinley Park, Illinois that were congenial and respectful to us as customers. Every person we spoke with at Family Hyundai including the finance manager, receptionist, other managers and our favorite salesperson assured us Graham was the only one who could rectify the matter. He never responded. He later said he had “too many customers” to get back to us which felt like racism and overt rudeness. When reading some of his other reviews and prior employee feedback, his actions toward us were unjust and seem to be slanted toward a particular kind of customer. The shame is we will be in the market for another new vehicle in about a year but will avoid this dealership because of how poorly Graham treated us. Having an executive management career within the retail industry, as well as a University of Chicago MBA (Master of Business Administration), my professional opinion is that every customer is important and should be treated like family (pun intended). The treatment received from Graham is inexcusable. For this reason alone, I can not in good conscious recommend this dealership to anyone. More
