I was in the market for a particular pre-owned Ford F-150 with specific features. Over a few months, I dealt with several youthful, over exuberant salesmen at a couple different dealerships. The picture they painted of the trucks they advertised varied greatly from what I found. That said, I researched the sales staff at Five Star Ford in North Richland Hills because it’s minutes from our house. I found Alfred El-Darazi and saw that he was the highest rated salesman at Five Star and I could tell from his photo that he had plenty of experience. I emailed Alfred on Saturday and gave him the list of what I was looking for. Moments later, Alfred called me and said he had the truck I was looking for. 15 minutes later, I was shaking hands with Alfred and headed for a test drive. The truck he had me test drive checked all the boxes but was a little higher priced than I wanted to spend. The pre-owned sales director, Shawn Maples, came over and shaved a bit off the price. Still not sure, I went home and discussed it with my awesome wife who convinced me to buy the truck. The next day was Sunday and I didn’t realize Five Star was closed. I emailed Alfred letting him know that if the truck was still available, I’d buy it. Within an hour, on his day off, Alfred emailed me back and said he’d go in early on Monday and if the truck was available, he’d grab the keys and let me know. Early Monday morning, Alfred called with the news I hoped for. Within a few hours, I took my dream truck home. Not many people enjoy the car buying process but Five Star Ford and its awesome staff made this easy and pleasant. If you’re in the market for a vehicle, go to Five Star Ford.
