I have had three cars with Herb Chambers in Seekonk. My last purchase was a 2016 Honda HRV. It was absolutely gorgeousIt was also the first year they came out. Many times I have had my car in for work even during the pandemic. Everything was wonderful until I noticed paint peeling on my window trim. I hrought my car in initially for an oli change and to address the paint chipping. When I mentioned this it was stated to me didnt you get a letter regarding the paint issue I stated if I did I would have immediately come in. My gorgeous car stated to have a paint iissue almost two months after the repair period even though I had been there several times before spoke to my saleman Cliff and the service technicians none of them ever ever mentioned my beautiful retirement gift could have a paint issue . It was like I got a secret don't say anything to the customer because it will cost the dealership money. Immediately spoje to the manager Scott along with my salesman. The manager said call corporate and corporaate referred me back to the dealersip. The dealership actually sold me a tube of paint for $23.00 to paint my own car. Itried and tried to get Herb Chambers or corporate to fix this now my beautiful car looks like a peice of junk. I was just at the dealership last week due to a warranty issue no problem whatsoever. I also retur n.v ed the tube of paint which they charged me for but did not get any refund. My beautiful retirement present looks beautiful on the inside but a piece of junk on the outside. Iso the moral of my review is if there is someting wrong with your car and its going to cost Hona money. Its I've got a secret and you as the owner of your car can xxxxx all you want and we'll just move on to the next customer. More

I’ve been a customer here for years and have purchased four cars from this dealership, which is why I chose to return for service. Unfortunately, my recent experience was extremely disappointing. I ordered a part that needed to be replaced and, three weeks later, dropped my car off overnight as instructed. The next day, I received a call as if they had no idea why my car was there. It turned out the part had never even been ordered. Mistakes can happen, but what frustrated me most was the way it was handled. Brian, who I believe may have been the service manager, brushed it off as if it wasn’t a big deal that I now had to make a third trip back for their mistake. I live over an hour away, and not once was there an apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience caused. They eventually fixed the issue a week later and provided a loaner, but the lack of accountability and basic courtesy was unacceptable. It felt as though their error was somehow my problem to deal with. It’s unfortunate, because I’ve always liked the sales team, but the service department—particularly the manager—needs serious improvement in how they treat customers. This level of customer service is not what I would expect from a dealership I’ve trusted for years, and because of this experience, I will not be returning. More
