Dishonest service recommendations I went in to have some maintenance services done. I was told I needed new tires because the tread measurements were really low. Imagine my surprise kn I went in to have some maintenance services done. I was told I needed new tires because the tread measurements were really low. Imagine my surprise knowing the tires I put on were less than 1 year old, and the fact that a brand new tire was just put on the car a little over a month before this visit. I was in a hurry so I just took their paperwork and left. I told my husband about my experience and needless to say he was not pleased. He went to the establishment we originally bought the tires from and had them measure the tread depth. Not surprising, there is not a need for new tires. Further, he went back to the dealership the next day and had the service advisor measure. He could not produce the same measurements. My husband explained that this experience basically eliminated my trust in the dealership and Toyota as a brand, and asked what they would do to fix it. The advisor gave him a free oil change. My husband explained he was not looking for a compensatory resolution but rather he wanted them to address the issue and perception of taking advantage of female customers through offering services that are not needed. They said they would call back on Monday...I have as of yet to hear a peep. It was bad enough to go through the first experience, but being lied to about hearing back from them just reaffirmed they can't be trusted. I can't speak for Toyota as a company and I do not know if this type of practice and customer service is standard, but I have no reason or trust that would compel me to go out of my way to purchase a Toyota when I am in the market again. As for this service center...no thank you. If you are a female, beware of any service recommendations made. They may not be needed. More

I dropped of my Tacoma and the staff was friendly and fast. I walked down the street to have lunch with my family at the nearby Shogun ressraurant. The Landers crew changed my oil, patched a nail hole they discovered, rotated my tires and washed my vehicle all at no charge. It was a great experience and made me wish this was my regular service area. Mr. Guitierrez was a genuinely nice person to deal with. More
