OUR HISTORY
Walt DeBoer founded Lithia Motors in 1946 as a Chrysler-Plymouth-Dodge dealership in Ashland, Oregon. Following Walt’s death in 1968, Walt’s son Sid along with Dick Heimann, grew the business to include 5 stores and 19 franchises in Southern Oregon. In December 1996, this collection of dealerships was transformed into Lithia Motors, Inc., a publicly traded company (NYSE stock symbol-LAD). We envisioned a company that would continuously grow, provide great customer service, and opportunities for employees.
TODAY
Lithia is one of America’s largest automotive retailers featuring most domestic and import franchises. Our stores serve urban and rural populations throughout the Western and Midwest United States.
We are focused on providing customers with an honest and simpler buying and service experience. We are giving customers straightforward information so that they can make confident decisions.
We believe that our local communities are our lifeblood. In addition to the employment opportunities we provide in each of our neighborhoods, we also provide contributions to charitable organizations that serve our families, friends, and customers.

I was not pleased with being Nickle and dimed then found out they undervalued my trade saying they would need to put new tires on it to sell it. There was enough tread to sell the car as is and it was in ex out they undervalued my trade saying they would need to put new tires on it to sell it. I see it posted on their site for $6k more than what they gave me... they really wouldn't budge on the bluebook trade in when the low was $8,172. Can't trust Lithia. I will not be buying another vehicle here or referring friends to eother. More

Do not buy a Palisade from this place. Huge markup and poor customer service. My Palisade has flaws in the paint and I said something twice. No one reached out to fix it. I received an email from Dylan poor customer service. My Palisade has flaws in the paint and I said something twice. No one reached out to fix it. I never heard back from him I will be taking my Palisade to Carson for all services and warranty work. Worst dealership in Reno. Buy in Carson. Better customer service and prices. More
