I came in seeking a simple part, and they try to up-sell me a ridiculous un-needed diagnostic test. This was for a windshield wiper. I don't blame the attendant, but the whole system. I will not be returning. I get charged $165 for diagnostics on my tire pressure monitoring system and get told the system didn’t throw a code? The system told me to take it in for service and there is no code?!? I am told now that I am out of warranty that I need to pay $5400 to fix an oil leak where the signs of the leak have been present for the last three years?!? I get it, warranty reimbursement doesn’t pay the same as gouging customers, so just wait until the warranty is expired to bring it up. No I will never to business with Toyota Direct again.
