He had all the information on the model that my wife and Iwere interested in and even provided other product information that helped us make a decision on what model to settle on, he was very professional in a very friendly way that made us feel no pressure to buy right now. So after offering to let us take a truck for a test drive we sat down and told him the equipment that was important to us. He the went to check the availability of what was availible and found the modle we wanted and told us he would be happy to work with us to do a dealer trade and get us that spacific truck witch he did and were able to do a deal and take the truck home.I will be referring Ventura Toyota to everyone and will send them to Ramon Martinez. Best customer service ever!!! I was having trouble finding the exact truck that I wanted. I finally found it at Ventura Toyota which is about 4 hours from my house, and spoke with I was having trouble finding the exact truck that I wanted. I finally found it at Ventura Toyota which is about 4 hours from my house, and spoke with David Zuniga, the internet sales manager. However, that truck was sold about an hour later. What David then did was amazing. He went and found the same truck that was coming into port and pulled some strings through all of his contacts with so much experience in the auto industry, so he could get the truck for me. He ended up driving over 100 miles himself to get me the truck that I wanted. He arranged for the best deal possible on the truck, and I committed to him over the phone. My wife and I then took a 5 hour train ride to buy the truck at the dealer, and David picked us up from the train station himself. It was a smooth and extremely pleasant and first-class experience all around. David Zuniga, Ruben Gomez, and Johnny Flores, were all amazing and made the hassle of buying a car a truly memorable experience. This is my 3rd new Toyota, and I am very knowledgeable about the vehicles and extremely specific about what model and specifications I was after. Unlike other dealers and salesman who would talk condescendingly to me or my wife and disregard my wants and desires and go for the up-sell or try to sell me something off the lot instead, David and the staff there made sure they addressed my specific needs and nothing else. I can't say enough about how awesome it was to work with them. I don't think I would ever call or visit another Toyota dealer in the future without first checking with Ventura Toyota. After spending a couple of weeks driving cars and negotiating offers, I called Ventura Toyota and asked to talk to any salesperson. Lucky for me, I was connected with Daniel Leon and he gave me straight answers over the phone. Together with manager, Mike Perez, they figured out a way to get me the deal I was looking for on my first choice car. I drove from Santa Barbara and by the time I left that night, I had leased the car I wanted for even less than Daniel quoted on the phone. The facility is so clean and classy, and all the men that helped me that night (sales, management, service and financing) were so friendly and generous. We took a look to a bunch of Camrys and zeroed in on one and went inside the building to talk to a car salesman. We happened to bump into Manuel Cosio who attended us immediately and helped us throughout the whole process. He was very courteous and helpful and helped us made our minds on what we needed and wanted. We give him a 10! Then we proceded to go to the financial department where another gentleman Sam Swain who also helped us a lot in making our visit to Ventura Toyota a great experience. 2016 Tacoma TRD Off Road Transmission Problems came in asking to have my transmission fluid checked, i'd been having problems with it hesitating to shift (up or down), sticking when going from P to came in asking to have my transmission fluid checked, i'd been having problems with it hesitating to shift (up or down), sticking when going from P to R, and slipping gears at cruising speed. i expressed all of those concerns and was assured it wasn't a problem, even though i insisted on having it checked. on the service card that came with the truck, it labelled "Check ALL Fluids" at pretty much every service interval, no mention of special treatment involving a sealed transmission. after they couldn't replicate any of my issues they denied my request. i talked to another person, Alex, i think, asking what would happen if i checked on my own and found it low. he told me it was impossible to check without a scan tool. turns out it's not that hard to check, same as Tundras. i checked it myself in about 45 minutes and was low 3/4 of a quart. i added some myself (OEM Toyota ATF WS part number: 00289-ATFWS-4) and all my problems seem to have disappeared over the course of a couple days. i'm disappointed, to state the obvious. i really wanted to like this dealership and continue coming for service, they were friendly and well organized, but this experience will have me looking for another service department. hopefully one that takes all concerns seriously. note: any other '16 Tacoma owners should try and get their transmission fluid checked. through my research, i've discovered a handful of automatic V6 models with the tow package have come from the factory low on fluid.
