Horrible customer service at Mazda parts - Hate bad service

Went there to buy a couple of keys for a 2005 Mazda MPV. Asked the parts guy if they had a chip in the key. He had NO CLUE Ordered them because we needed another set and but when they came in just the part that goes into key fob not an actual key like you would figure a stock key to look like. Had also asked about a new key fob that was over $100.00 plus about $80.00 to program he said it takes about 40 minutes to program. I got to thinking that’s a lot of money for a key and I will be at court at 12 years old so I did some research on the Internet and found two key Fobs for $40 With the key in them. We took him and got the key cut which cost us $20 and reprogrammed the key Fobs by ourselves in less than a minutes. Took the two keys that we bought from Art Hill mazda back We paid $117 for two peas and just the top key part of the key Phibes and he wouldn’t give us a full refund because it had been more than 10 days since we ordered them but not 10 days since I had picked them up and it supposed to be a 20%restocking fee he charge me $40 to restock both keys Saying it was a specialty item because they had to order it. Well here’s are not specialty items just because they don’t carry them and had to order them from the factory that does not make it a specialty item. Stay away from this dealership they are total total total rip off’s. To take advantage of honest hard-working people. I would never spend Another dime you there let alone buy a vehicle from these horrible horrible horrible horrible people Stay away from service manager Joe Furco He is a thief and a liar

It was a pleasant experience dealing with our salesman, Derek Moore, and to have the Sales Manager, Nick Bosak, introduce himself to us. There will always be some tense moments as the wheeling and dealing moves forward and especially coming to acceptable trade-in value and price of vehicle in closing. Having just purchased our new 2024 KIA Sportage PHEV in Vista Blue exterior and Black leather-like interior is gorgeous to us. Even a staff member from the Service Department came to us and introduced themselves and helped clarify the new vehicles oil change frequency. If zero is terrible to 10 extremely satisfied. I would give a rating of 10+ to Bosak KIA dealership located in Burns Harbor, Indiana. One thing to know about the KIA warranty it is not a full five-year / 60,000 mile warranty that was expected. It is 3-year / 36,000 miles warranty and modifies upto more limited warranty coverage of 5-year / 60,000 miles. Plus, there is more warranty coverage for roadside assistance, powertrain and PHEV components as well. So far we love the vehicle and does exactly what our salesman explained, but must say there is more to learning a PHEV vehicle. If you plan on buying a PHEV or All Electric make sure you get a 220 volt charger. The charger that comes with the vehicle is dedicated to 110 Volt and to fully charge the battery from 1-mile to 34-miles (battery size is 13.8 Kwh) took 22-hours. If used a 220 Volt charger takes 2 to 3-hours. My wife and I highly recommend this dealership and it's staff.

I own 3 Ford vehicles purchased outside of IN. My daughter goes to college in IN and we took her car in to fix a repair done at our home Ford Dealership. After telling us that it was 100% covered they came back the next day and stated that Ford was denying the warranty work because it was 50/50 on whether or not this was a defective part, human error or caused by alternator going out. Therefore, they would repair but we would have to pay. I contacted our home Dealership and was informed this should be covered under service contract w/a simple deductible pmt and any Ford will (should) honor. This dealership did not offer this option or want to do the warranty work. (which baffled my home dealership) BUT our home dealership is towing the car at THEIR expense to repair and then having it driven back to IN (from IL) to my daughter. Now that is 5-star service! To top this poor experience off I receive a text stating that I need to pay $241 dollars for an hour of their diagnostic time. Are you JOKING?? This is the reason for my speaking up. Ford of Lafayette Service is not about the customer / owner, but about the money. So glad my daughter has our home Dealership looking out for her and doing what is best to keep her safe in her Ford and providing outstanding customer service. Ford of Lafayette Service should take a lesson from them!
