The first thing that is annoying is that they dont answer the phone. You get AI, even AI text, therefore nobody told me that I COULD come in for a quick oil change and tire service while I was in the area... I heard from them the next day. So I scheduled an appointment. Since I bought my tires there they told me the rotation was free and the charge for rebalancing all 4 would be $25.. I specifically asked about this price and was assured $25 to balance all 4 tires. In the end they tried to charge me $60 to rotate them and an additional $60 to balance them. After pointing out the error of their ways, they dropped the rotation charge, but still wanted the additional charge for the tire balance. My bill was $158. I had anticipated about $125 based on my previous phone conversation. They did offer up a $25 coupon in the end. Why? They have already ensured that I dont return for service again. Its a $25 insult.
Fox Subaru apparently has no loyalty to return customers. They seemed clueless that I bought tires from them.
I normally buy tires from Bell Tire but I needed new tire pressure sensors and wanted OEM parts, I waited till I needed tires and went to Fox for the repair. No complaints about that service/purchase, they stuck to the prices quoted over the phone.
The Annoyance is feeling like a brand new customer at Fox and having to point out the previous tire purchase to them. And explain that they said no charge to rotate and $25 to balance...which turned out to be an outright lie.
I dont want to tell them how to do their job but I had to tell them how to do their job. Either that or let them bend me over and screw me on the price that was way more than quoted over the phone.
They get one star for actually being a Subaru dealer.
