If I could give them less than one star I would. Had an alternator replaced. Ford factory alternator referb because they do not make new any more - but it was still a Ford product - It went BAD - IN LESS THAN A WEEK. Not only did it lock up and was so hot to the touch you could not touch it. The garbage alternator House put in also fried out my Cluster (and who knows what else because the vehicle wont even start). House Ford refuses to go good on it. They want ME to pay for the damages their product caused. Justin the service advisor, Dwight the service advisor manager and even Jessica the GM all told me straight out that they would not pay for the additional damage the alternator caused to my vehicle. DO NOT go there. Don't buy vehicles there, Don't get your service work done there. If they mess something up or their parts are defective they refuse to go good on it and make things right.

I recently had an issue with my fog lights not working on my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee. And to be honest I had never used them and the service manager noticed they we not working while looking at an issue with my key fobs. The batteries needed to be replaced. To make a long story short the service manager was more interested in selling me a set of 4 tires and told me I can change the bulbs from underneath. So I left. I You tubed how to change the bulbs when I got home and thought, on a two year old vehicle with 27,435 mi. the bulbs should not be burned out. My last Cherokee they lasted 18 years. I contacted Steve Carpenter who is the sale person I bought the Jeep from and he immediately had me pull in for a maintenance tech to look. They found out the bulbs we good and the problem was in two electrical connectors that were corroded. Which were covered under warranty. Thanks to Steve it saved me $370.00. I complement Mr. Carpenter for doing all he did for me.He didn't have to go the extra mile but he gladly did. When it comes time to purchase another Chrysler or Jeep product I'll be looking for Steve. Thanks Steve.

My wife had a screw in a tire on my 2017 Pacifica when she was 9 hours from home. She brought the car to Bemidji Chrysler Center. Josh helped her get the tire plugged and put back on. They took the spare off, deflated it and put it back in the storage place. The service she got was beyond my imagination.

I could have probably avoided additional damage and a huge repair bill if they had found what the real problem was.
They do not know what to look for or listen to what I explained.
I went in with grinding noise coming from the back end of the vehicle. They drove it and decided it was a front wheel bearing and replaced that. They said the noise from the back end was just tire noise. I didn't think that was right, but thought they would know more about the vehicle than I did. Wrong!! Two weeks later my truck broke down in the middle of an out of state move with a blown rear axil seal, rear bearing damage, the entire rear differential damaged and needed to replace it. After replacing that in the middle of Iowa the truck no longer has the "TIRE NOISE" they used as an excuse. I'm not even sure if they even looked at the back end of the vehicle (where I told them to look) because the repair shop I was stuck at said this problem should have been obvious if it had been checked.

My wife brought her Jeep Cherokee in here for an oil change. The service tech removed the front wheel for some reason and forgot to tighten up the lug nuts when the wheel was put back on. We live 50 miles from McKay's but my wife works in Waite Park, she drove home and noticed it started to shake badly when she was close to home. I looked the Jeep over to see what the problem was and 3 of the 5 lug nuts were missing. I contacted the service manager and he said to bring it back and they will fix it. They had the Jeep for over 2 weeks and couldn't find a wheel to match the aftermarket black aluminum wheels that she has. They had a different set of wheels and said they would give her 1 wheel and she could pay $675 for the other 3 wheels. Why should we have to pay anything if they messed up in the first place? She ended up getting a check for $185 for the wheel they wrecked and now we have to find a different set of wheels. I would not recommend taking a vehicle to them for service work because they don't stand behind the work they do and won't own up to the mistakes they make. These wheels have been on the Jeep for over 100,000 miles and they tried to blame it on the shop that we originally bought the wheels from. McKay's claims there is a centering ring missing. When asked why they didn't notice this before because they have rotated the tires numerous times, they said their technicians aren't trained to look for that. Their technicians aren't properly trained to do the jobs they are doing? That isn't very assuring.

we have delt with Hibbing for few years. Mike in service has went out of his way to be kind and oh so helpful. This last time our Durango was in for rear air repair and Tim was handling it. Due to him and possibly the tech doing work but I have my doubts he was involved. We got a call from Tim who was Very Rude to my wife on the phone. He was very upset he could not find the key to the rim locks. My miss told him it was in the slot in glove box and he was very short and extremely agitated voice told her NO its not. She said it should be as thats where it is kept. Again he said NO its not. She said maybe when it was there for work on rear end of truck your guys put it in back on storage place. I can ask Chuck quick. He slamed phone down and hung up on her. Truck was supposed to be done same day but we got a call was having trouble and would not be done, I said no problem. This was before Tim called looking for key. Day passed no call. Next day as it approached 3 pm and no call I called Mike answered and said yes its done. ( but NO call from Tim to let us know)I told him I would be in and wanted to chat with Tim as he was rude to my miss. Went in no Tim, picked up truck air worked great. There was pappers on floor from glove box we didn't think anything of it until we opened glovebox. EVERTHING HAD BEEN TAKKEN OUT AND LOOKED LIKE SHOVED AND KICKED IN BY BOOTS. She was a bit cranky. We went to load truck for trip and they had took everything out of side storage AND under storage. They just threw our personal things back in. And ofcourse by just tossing it back in it would not fit. There was loose sockets, tools, cold weather safety items all over back of truck. We was in total shock of the disrespect shown by them. I called to speak to head of service and asked who was in charge. Wait for it..... was told ....Servive Manger ( in my mind was thinking No xxxx) but waited thinking there would be a name to follow. But after a awkward pause, I said well that much I figured. Do they have a name? Yes Chris.....pause..... could I speak to them? Put on silent hold. I waited there 10 mins. No music, no hibbing adds, just silence. I gave up and came here. I dont know if Hibbing is dying as they lost their sister store, but doing things like this and treating their customers this way is not going to help. Virginia and Rapifs not that far away. Oh the missing key was found exactly where she told them it was. In slot in glove box door.
