Had some back-and-forth emails with Sarah Respes on a Friday about an XC70 that had just come in. She told me that afternoon she was off work for the weekend and would get back to me on Monday. Since I am buying from out of state, I called in and spoke with Mitchell Insel to see if I could place a deposit on the car so it would be held. He spoke with his manager and told me the car wouldn't be sold over the weekend and not to worry about it.
On Monday Sarah emailed me with no remorse "The vehicle you were interested in was sold over the weekend." Awful customer service, if you're going to sell the car anyway, at least please don't lie about it.
I also previously spoke with Mitchell about a different vehicle and he sounded very uninterested in the whole affair, never mind that I was trying to give him money for a car.
Internet Sales Staff Lies to Customers - Jillian Coloe - Coloe Lies
Calling to confirm (after several email exchanges and telephone conversations with Jillian Coloe), that a specific vehicle was available, I was assured by Jillian Coloe and her sales manager less than 24 hours before visiting dealership that the vehicle was in stock. Coming from Philadelphia (1 hour drive), I wanted to be certain that I wasn't wasting my time. Upon arrival, Jillian Coloe handed me off to another salesperson who told me that the vehicle I came to purchase was being test driven by another customer. Less than 20 minutes later I was told that the vehicle had been sold the week before. Jillian Coloe was too much of a coward to respond to my request to come out of her office and explain why she blatantly lied to me.
